  1. NPT can be parallel or taper thread. Sounds like you may be screwing male parallel into female taper ?
  2. Nylon bolts so they break rather than the wing in the event of a nudge.
  3. I hope you need to edit your price
  4. Removed our WL and converted to radius arms. Much more comfortable ride and no more rattly rod end bearings.
  5. Is there any other way ? This was my life in the middle to late 1970s.
  6. Consider finding and using the central exhaust mounting bush. Approx 803-805mm from the rear bush in the same lower chassis rail. Assuming you can attach a suitable bracket to the exhaust to mount on a bracket/bobbin fitted at this location. If not supported centrally, the inlet to the silencer is a common fracture point as the exhaust bounces up and down between the manifold and rear bobbin.
  7. As always, try sales@redlinecomponents.co.uk
  8. Go S&C. I ran the hose through the big grommet at the front of the tunnel. It is remarkably stretchy. No sharp edges to worry about.
  9. Mine doesn't have a braided hose. I ran the nylon pipe inside a thick pvc screen wash hose for extra protection. No problems in over 16 years ....
  10. Use long nose pliers to hold and position one leg of the 'W' at a time. Always keep a thumb on the middle of the clip to prevent flight. Safety glasses recommended.
  11. Way bigger diameter than 5/16" !!
  12. Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air. Water is heavier than hydraulic oil, so it falls to the lowest part, which is the calipers.
  13. You are aware the LED bulbs in standard headlights is a potential MOT fail ?
  14. And that way, you know the unit will fit !

    K series dead?

    Airlocks high on the list
  19. Good conversion. Did the same to ours as soon as we bought it in 2007.
  20. Yes. A few rivets holding that triangular plate in rear wheel arch. Easy enough.
  21. Googling it, Autodoc suggest it is 1.2 bar
  22. This was for k-series. No idea about Duratec.
