Thanks Andrew, I feel like this is the problem but didn't want to force it. Guess I'll have to clamp the mounting bracket to get enough purchase to loosen the Allen bolt.

Hey all, so I've purchased the Motamec version of the Spa mirrors. All looks good but I cannot get the ball joint to adjust, even with the grub screw taken out. It's rock solid! Am I missing something? The Allen key inside the mounting bracket is rock solid too. Shop isn't open till Monday so I thought I'd just throw it out there to see if anyone has had this problem or have I got a duff set. Thanks in advance. Ian

So I've got to that point where a replacement sender is required and I'm just looking at the kit options available for a mechanical gauge. Demon Tweeks have one @ £198 (before club discount) and Sevens & Classics have one at £90. Big difference in price! It's clear the S&C one has a plastic tube not braided. I'm thinking of getting S&C one as I can use the money saved on other improvements (I could buy better quality hose to add to it). Has anyone fitted either of these kits or any experience of the like?

Absolutely agree with SKC & DirtBuddha, thank you so much for organising this event. A fantastic day and, as a complete novice I must extend a huge thank you to the instructors for helping me start to gain confidence and (some) ability over the day. Still so much to learn though! But everyone was super friendly and we had a blast.

2007 Roadsport, I think I've answered my own question and it appears only the rears were 581 the fronts are 382. Rear holder is the straight fitting. Was going to buy the LED relay too.

So I wanted to swap the current incandescent bulbs for LED's but I'm confused as to which fitting it should be. I've just removed the current ones and they're 581 (offset bayonet) but it looks like they should be 382 (standard bayonet). Which if I'm right would also explain why the front ones don't want to come out! Anyone?

How much does everyone take with them on a road trip? And how much on a trackday? First year with a 7 so trying to gauge all these things.

Hey Nic, great work.can I ask a few questions about how you did it? Were the Peltors originally just ear protection or were they already a coms set? I'm just wondering about the mic and if you channeled the wire through or if it was already there. I'm guessing the hybrid mic that comes with the Cardo has an adhesive part to it?? Any more info about the hack would be fab. Can't bring myself to spend £500-800 for these other systems. Thanks in advance.
