  1. On behalf of a friend: The all singing and dancing GoPro Hero 3 Silver edition with various mounts and 32gb Micro card, used once!! Pristine condition. Takes photos and videos and is capable of time lapse photography/video. Waterproof casing allows it to go to a depth on 60m underwater. The unit and various brackets cost me £330 in the summer. As its like new would ask for offers in region of £250.

Much clearer, thanks Ian. I imagine that, with the intermittent module fitted, this would serve to turn the intermittent mode on and off?

  4. Ruby and silver R450... with hood up. I work next door at Macro 4.
  5. Quoting Jonathan Kay: what next? Nice cup of tea and a biccie?
  6. I work near Crawley and will be going to the Spotted Dog tomorrow night. If you can get it to the Spotted Dog (or anyone who might be going there) I could drop it off for you. Always needed an excuse to visit the new showroom
  7. R400 GON? Just before 9 this morning. Edited by - Ray Pearce on 28 Jun 2013 11:11:45
  8. If you can't get it to ReHab then how are you going to get it to Denmark?

    Wiper problems

But the self-park shouldn't rely on the electronics at all. If the parking pin is a permanent 12 v (it should be) and the park switch is working then the wiper motor should be permanently powered until it reaches the park position. The electronics are only used to start/keep the wipers moving and to select which speed. With the wipers stopped in mid sweep, you should be able to trace the 12 v from the park feed through the park switch to the motor. When the volts stop you have found the failing part.
  10. Garry, replies to your BM are bouncing. Is the email address in your blatchat profile correct? Anyway, mine is only 6 inches ☹️ so I think I will need 1.9m of 600mm thanks.
  11. I would be interested in this for my Powerspeed exhaust too.
  12. Does the disconnected black box look like the MFRU as pictured near the bottom of this page? If so, it definitely needs to be connected.
  13. When I ordered my car, I didn't think enough about the spec and it arrived with inertia belts and the weedy non-FIA roll bar. Within a month I had ordered the 4 point harness and FIA bar. To hedge my bets I fitted the harness as well as the inertia but once I had the harnesses I never used the 3 pointer again. I have since removed the 3 pointer fittings (but the belt is still fitted in the turrets and costing me a few Kg) Listen to Johnty - use the harness. You will feel so much more secure and at one with the car.
  14. Ooops misread seven for sevener I thought that the challenge seemed too easy...
  15. I've done 5 continents - South America and Antarctica to go. (Unless Barbados counts as S.America?) I was googling the different values for fl.oz. pints and gallons and came across a Yahoo!! Answer that included the phrase "A pints a pound, the world around" I guess it's true if your world only consists of the United States of America.
  16. HeMan, which immobiliser do you have? The Emerald will only work with the Rover 5AS immobiliser.
  17. Alan, I have a pair of mirrors that mount on the door hinges (after removing door) Had them for years and don't use them (I've got an aero for that) You are welcome to borrow them and if you like them we could probably reach some agreement involving beer tokens...
  18. Sainsburys are knocking out new ones at £99. Makes your £130 look a bit on the high side.
  19. John, were you driving an ally and black car in the morning? I was marshalling along the slalom and wanted to speak to the driver to find out what tyres he was using as they were obviously carp. Having said that, as you have the same carp tyres on all corners they shouldn't affect under/over steer too much - it all about the balance. As others have said, check your rake, soften the front end and overinflate the rears. You should soon have the back end wagging.
  20. Trotsy - your last picture seems to show about an inch and a half of trimmable material between the wheel arch and the bubble. Compare the size of this "flange" ( I love that word 😳) with a standard door. Edited by - Ray Pearce on 16 May 2012 16:40:38

  22. I do like to see a neatly trimmed aperture...
