1. In the "New and Updated" view, I spotted an updated post in a forum section named "TechWiki Dev" This section doesn't appear for me in the normal forum list but if I view the post I can use the breadcrumb to reveal the contents of the section. I should either be able to see it completely or not at all Edit: the section can be viewed without logging on by going to http://www.lotus7.club/forum/techwiki-dev
2. I get a totally different set of icons in the reply box toolbar Is it down to the browser in use? I am using Firefox 30.0 I just tried with IE 11 and still get the same set of icons
3. If you click on "Disable rich-text" after you have created the link, what does it show you? e.g.
test link

fred

4. If the creator of a thread deletes the first post it still appears in the "New and Updated" thread list. If the thread is selected it gives "Page not found" e.g. Tobys post about the Guy Martin Spitfire program. http://www.lotus7.club/forum/chitchat/guy-martins-spitfire-sunday-ch-4-730-pm
5. Linky Does it support color?
6. Characters such as " and & are displayed as their entity name in a post title. Edit: Was I too slow - looks like it might have already been fixed - or did it only apply to "old" posts transferred across?
7. testingTesting a bit It looks like all the fancy formatting options on the image are ignored, so you can't resize the image in the post despite the editor appearing to support it.
8. At the bottom of threads that run to multiple pages there are icons for First/Previous/Next/Last page These seem to be overlaid with fragments of text
9. I can't get rid of the default picture. I tick the box to delete it but then get an error message about some temporary: file not being found. The specified file temporary://oldstyle_12.jpg could not be copied, because no file by that name exists. Please check that you supplied the correct filename.and I find I have another random default picture. I don't want no stupid picture!
10. Have a linky on me. But why does the advert say 1.6L ?
11. I'm guessing he has the new style push buttons rather than the usual old rocker and toggle switches. So the "work the hazard switch a dozen times to clean the contacts" trick won't make any sense.
12. I have seen a thin steel ruler used down the plug holes of no. 1 & 2 cylinders. Measure the depth of both pistons and tweak the crank until they are the same.
13. When I recently needed to source some covers I got them from BritCar here
14. I wouldn't recommend running without a cambelt cover. Ask Myles or Arnie Webb why.
15. Thanks for the offer Kev. I think I'm sorted now with a combination of Brit Car and eBay. If anything falls through I might well be in touch
16. I'm OK for the cam cover. It is the plastic timing belt covers that I need. I checked on Rimmers website first - the top cover is out of stock and they don't even list the back cover ☹️ I don't think the covers are any different for VVC but for what it's worth, it is an EU2 non-vvc. http://my.lotussevenclub.com/Portals/14/UltraPhotoGallery/1206/250/large/20140510_112821.jpg
17. Couriers dropped my engine ☹️ and smashed the timing belt covers (plus vernier pulley, cam cover etc) Does anyone have top and inner timing belt covers available?
18. *arrowup* But the one on Amazon comes in Dark Walnut with an integral cupboard Edited by - Ray Pearce on 5 May 2014 08:38:21
19. I use one of these in my tin-tip. Seems to work fine and even comes with a 7 logo on it
20. I believe they are shortened Land Rover series 1 blades If you know how to use a junior hacksaw then try here or just google "Land rover series 1 wiper blades"
