  1. It's been many years since I removed this from my sump and drilled holes in the gasket. I have had zero issues since.
  2. A search for PRC1330F should find them.
  3. I had this issue too. Solved by purchasing a pair of land rover blades for a fraction of the Caterham price and cutting them down to size. Caterham wanted me to buy new arms to suit their blades.
  4. Yes, it has got a rev limiter. It does work in neutral but won't help if you buzz the engine by changing down a gear rather than up. I think it will be fine - a quick blip in neutral with the limiter doing it's job will have no ill effects.
  5. First thing the wife says is "Have you got yer knob out?"
  6. These two conflicting statements caught my eye Are you sure that you didn't disturb the battery connections while adding the CTEK connector?
  7. If anyone doesn't know about the foam. This is what I found when I had oil pressure issues. And this was what my oil pickup looked like. Ditch the foam, drill a hole in the sump gasket shelf and fit a mechanical oil pressure gauge
  8. All on Win 10 Firefox 68.0 - Broken image icom, Right click/View Image displays PDF Chrome 76 - Nothing displayed. 0 x 0 pixel image IE 11 - Black X icon Edge 42 - Nothing displayed. 0 x 0 pixel image
  9. It would be good if marketplace posts could be locked when the item is either sold or found
  10. I am currently the "custodian" of Grubbster's hoist which comes complete with a load leveler. Is Uckfield too far?
  11. I had an awful knocking noise from the near side. It normally appeared at low speeds, on uneven roads or when cornering. I was pretty much convinced that I needed to replace the rear suspension bushes but couldn't detect any play despite pushing and pulling everywhere. This went on for a month or more before I managed to create the noise with a violent sideways shove on the roll bar. After a few more shakes I finally tracked the noise down. When I ordered the kit 20 years ago, I didn't specify 4 point harnesses, so it came with 3 point lap and diagonals. When I later installed harnesses I left the 3 pointers in place and the noise was the tongue of the belt swinging and knocking against the side skin behind the passenger seat. I still have no idea why it started clonking after 19 years but I was very relieved to find the source.
  12. Yep - the horn press button prises out (but has a wire connected to it) disconnect the wire, undo the nut and then use a ratchet strap between the wheel and the roll bar to prevent getting smacked in the mouth when the wheel suddenly releases from the splines as you are pulling it. (BTDTGTTS) My usual problem is the spring-loaded "pen" that touches the contact ring slipping back through it's mount (this stops the horn working) but yours sounds like there is a short somewhere - possibly the contact ring coming loose as described above.
  13. I have a set of the SBFS corner bags that I no longer use. Black with yellow piping, only used for one European trip. Could be for sale if you are interested
  14. I'm sure that Out-Of-A-Box Designs Ltd could come up with a lightweight composite replacement for those heavy aluminium? stanchions. (T's &C's apply. Not suitable for use in rain. No liability accepted for any damage howsoever caused .)
