  1. The rumble of classic engines and the scent of high-octane nostalgia return to the Nürburgring this August for the 51st BELMOT Oldtimer Grand Prix! Mark your calendars for the 9th to 11th, because for three glorious days, the legendary track will transform into a time capsule of motorsport history. As always, "simplyseven" is trying to organize a club attendance at the B4 car park all weekend. Bring Your Seven and a motorhome or a tent, or book a room at one of the ring hotels and miss out on the evening action. However, as of now, the allocation for our beloved Car park B4 remains unconfirmed. This might mean a slight change in our usual pre-event routine, and may include last minute changes to the event schedule, but fret not, fellow enthusiasts! The uncertainty over parking shouldn't dampen our spirits. This annual gathering is a celebration of automotive passion, and a chance to reconnect with fellow Seven aficionados. We'll keep you updated on any developments regarding B4, but in the meantime, start polishing your chrome and prepping your picnics – the Oldtimer Grand Prix is on, and it promises to be an unforgettable weekend!
  2. Thank you for all the answers. I drive an SV and have the same acoustic problem as with the Super Seven 1600. In the S3 it was a nice intake noise with the bonnet open, in the SV there is interference from the bonnet being closed. I now want to open the bonnet and then install a higher air filter to eliminate the interference. I hope this will help.
  3. If I want to make an opening in the bonnet for a Pipercross air filter - how do I find the right position without making the hole too big? Do I flange the edge or do I put a rubber profile on the edge?

  5. There will be an International Seven Meeting 2019 to cover for the lack of St.Moritz and Portofino. Location is the Green Hell in Germany. Details and reservations at https://shop.caterhamcar.club/International-Seven-Meeting-2019-at-the-Nurburgring best 7-regards Andreas Seydell
  6. Build in a fixed switch 80 degrees to both fans. Does temperature gauge works through ECU? Dosn't work very well !!! I think 80 degrees for fan is to low. Anny better degrees?
  7. Sometimes I will change the ICU. But for next step, why not a temp-switch on the cooler? Edited by - aseydell on 16 Sep 2014 09:51:10
