  1. The 2015 version of the text-rich Assembly Guide has 34 N m for the starter motor and this table: Jonathan
  2. Thanks for sharing the numbers. I'm surprised at that 10.35 V while cranking, and would be interested in what that is after charging. Jonathan
  3. That's a Smiths FET3. Probably these settings but let us know if that doesn't work. Jonathan
  4. Probably. Please could you add a photo of the face and the rear. Or the part number from the label. Jonathan
  5. Domestic washing-up liquid used to contain a lot of phosphate, and that was one of the reasons for not using it to clean cars. But it was removed from many detergents in order to reduce damage to aquatic environments. I don't know the details. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phosphates_in_detergent Jonathan
  6. Yes, this was stated in the recent online meeting with, IIRC a date. Jonathan
  7. Thankyou. "A lot better" sounds good to me. Jonathan
  8. Thanks for those. That's a lot better than looking towards the Seven! But I'd really like comparisons of old and new down the road... because that's what they're for. : - ) Jonathan
  9. More on this, please. IIRC I gave it all a slathering before hiding it away again. Jonathan
  10. It's good to hear that they've reappeared. Otherwise as Ian suggests. Jonathan
  11. Photos, please. I don't understand either how many variants there are or how the hose exerts load on the hose stub of the radiator. Jonathan
  12. What matters for those brackets is avoiding any load on the radiator as it's attached and tightened up. Mocking it up somehow or other is a good idea but after that it would be lighter and simpler to make a custom bracket with fewer fasteners. If it involves fabrication there are some very helpful, skilled and generous Members... IIUC you could use the existing bobbins by taking up the extra distance in the bracket rather than with a longer bobbin. Jonathan
  13. Usual request: please could upgraders take some photos down the road to show the illumination before and after. Probably easiest done by changing one side and then taking photos with one side masked at a time. Thanks Jonathan
  14. Jonathan PS: Always happy to discuss searching...
