Didn't connect the handbrake switch on my early 2010 build. No handbrake warning light. When the handbrake is released it should be horizontal. Can't remember which hole I used, but it was pretty clear IIRC. Richy

Possible corrosion within a rear light cluster causing a short between brake light circuit and side light circuit? Open them up for a look. Richy

Assuming you have identified no leakages elsewhere, because of the time it takes to drain, refill, bleed - in addition to repair of master cylinder - I would renew it. YKIMS -
Try using a 'peel' Rivet if the hole's too big.

Dont try a punch - it'll more than likely crack . Go slowly with the drill and you can file off any burrs afterwards. Richy

*arrowup*Be careful with those Oli. Ideally get someone else to hold the passenger side one in position for you. It's easy to fit it and then find you can't see half the mirror from the driver's seat! Thanks for the heads-up re the centre mirror. I'll give them a call. Richy

The problem is that smelly diff oil vents out all over the axle. Rust prevention.
