    Power Supply To Boot

iirc: On my 2009 Sigma chassis there was one at the rear of the transmission tunnel - needed to take the tunnel cover off to find it. Richy

    Red in Peterhead

Lunchtime today outside the marine school. I would have stopped to chat, but you wouldn't have understood a word I said. Mouth was full of cotton. Richy

    90 minute diff

The most difficult job for me was putting the gearbox oil filler plug back in!

    No lump hammer involved? Richy
  5. Quoting myothercarsa2cv: My friend's Micra, Dave, lasted 3 years before the engine seized from a lack of coolant and oil. I'll give the Corsa another 40K miles 😬 He called his car 'Dave'?

    Topping up LSD

No idea, Oli. But is this the same LSD as this one here? 😬
  7. Legionella - keep it above 60 at the taps. Richy
  8. RCD's are normally not fitted on lighting circuits. Check your consumer unit - probably split down the middle - supplies to sockets and cooker/immersion heater etc on one side, and lighting circuits on t'other. Richy.
  9. 😬Had fun? BX13 or BK13 was the reg. Spotted Saturday 30th November. Richy
  10. Sounds like it'll be OK then. Thanks for the advice. Will move it occasionally to protect the tyres from damage. The Caterham's on & off frequently anyway. Richy
  11. Does keeping a Caterham on a trailer (BJ MInno) in a garage as normal storage affect the trailer's suspension long-term? Richy
  12. What tin top is it? Audi A4, 1998 year. Thanks for the replies . At least I don't feel such a plonker 😳 knowing it's happened to others as well. Would prefer it if there was a connection in the eezibleed kit for a small tyre compressor, so I could pressurise it slowly. At least I've been using it with the eezibleed bottle empty. Would have made even more of a mess if I'd filled it with brake fluid. Richy
  13. In hindsight, perhaps. But having used the eezibleed a few times before without incident, why should I not have reasonably expected all to be OK? Richy
  14. Oh bu88er. Finished changing a brake caliper on my tin-top. Fitted the eezibleed and connected to a spare wheel (tyre pressure v.low). BANG. Brake fluid reservoir has burst. Trawling through the internet apparently a brittle & cracked reservoir quite common. So, car off the road for yet another few days. At least it wasn't the 7! Richy

    Heater vent

I seem to remember similar puzzling over which way up the vent panel was fitted during my build. Not much info in the manual at the time (2009). Definitely with the ears downwards! Richy

You wouldn't fit them in a handbag anyway Steve.
