I have a 1994 VX Challenge Race Car running 45 Webber’s and dry sump (not bell housing type). mine was raced in the race series (not by me) and I believe ran with the 48’s which were in a box when I bought my 7 as a barn find but I naively sold them. So wish I hadn’t. let me know if you want me to take some measurements.

I’ve done this a few times on my own now. I always take engine and gearbox out and back in as one. I also have a fixed engine diagonal and it is a pain and does have a bend in it where it has to be bent to get the bellhousing past.

I use to have this type of sloping 'A' frame rollbar on my 7 but I replaced it with a FIA type, and I sold my old A frame type years ago. I'm thinking of going back, anyone got one? thanks.

You can do yourself, I did mine. Buy the genuine refurb kits. i've not read your other thread. I assume it's poor running or leaking fuel?

Why make it complicated.... use a gear to gear the speed down :)
