Mine is a 90 Xflow SS 1700 - I would definitely go for the Aldon & Ignitor JJ, saves messing about with points

Hi Hendrix I had issues with my 1700SS for a long time (misfire ) and eventually it was traced to carbs needing a rebuild plus a dodgy ignitor in the Aldon Dizzie (Sorry just re-read an saw that you have have the carbs done).

LOL good to know you mate. Top car in Wolverhampton Wanderers colours ;-) It's a Saab 9-3 - too much crap in the car to put the roof down. Cracking car - the family workhorse and puts to shame the Range Rover Vogue unreliable sh*tbox that preceeded it !
