Standard practice in a corrosive environment - orientate the nut where it is easily accessible should you need to split it for removal. For example - can you access it with a hammer & chisel?

5 pce 6.5 X 15" 10-spoke anthracite wheels. 10 years old, but very good condition. Fitted with CR500 tyres as follows: 1 X 2009 2mm tread 1 X 2011 4mm tread 1 X 2016 5mm tread 1 X 2009 sidewall cracks 1 X 2009 tread punctured by screw approx 2" from the side. May be repaired? £550

Having worked at sea for over 30 years, I've seen a few different methods of silencing the alarms one doesn't want to hear. It seems most navigating officers swear by a large dollop of blue tack in the beeper.

Just completed this season's entry form using the new LoveAdmin section. Interestingly, the choice of membership was either in my wife's name, or my daughter's. Therefore, I've chosen to enter the Novice championship again, and the Ladies. Wish me luck.

Thanks to you both for your replies. There's an imperial cage for sale on eBay for £180, so I hoped it might fit as seemed a good price. I will continue to be on the lookout for a metric cage, then. Cheers, Richy

How different are the dimensions? Will a cage from a 2003 S3 R300 fit a 2009 S3 roadsport metric chassis? Cheers, Richy
