    Sanity Check...

When I completed my build, I couldn't get into gearwhen engine running - had to adjust the clutch master cylinder pushrod length to enable full release of the clutch. Richy
  8. They're pretty bad when brand new!
  9. For that sort of money you'd expect to find a detached property.
  10. Spotted this afternoon. I was in the blue one coming down the hill.
  11. Car is three years old next month, so thought I'd better get an MOT sorted. Resulted in three advisories: 1. Slight free play in steering wheel (removable type). 2. Rear anti-roll bar ball joints (both sides) have slight play. 3. No windscreen fitted Richy
  12. How old is the car? I had similar happen - fuse blew every time I got out of the car - eventually discovered a wire was shorted under the tunnel top where I leant on it. Sharp edge underneath the tunnel top. Richy

    Puncture repair

Agree with DJ. I had a 4" nail through a tyre on the 7 last year. It ended up through both the tread and the sidewall. Luckily I was only 500m from home, otherwise I'd be looking at AA/RAC call-out etc. If I was stranded I'd have used a kit (if I'd had one) just to get me home. 12 months later and I still haven't bought one 😳. Thanks for the reminder. Richy
  14. My comment as much use as above 😬 Fitted the very same to my 2009 Sigma last year - however you'll have to wait another 3 weeks before I can get back to look at it to confirm which wires I used! Must say - once fitted 🥰
  15. Yep. I can confirm that my standard S3 half-hood does not 'perfectly' fit the track-day roll bar. Although it does still keep the rain off. Richy.
  16. Quoting Phil G: Can I say it? Oh, go no pleeese………..Aren’t all reversing lights rear? But if you're going in reverse, doesn't that then become the front of the car Richy
  17. Well impressed compared to my childhood visits to another hospital down south... Is that because more NHS money is spent (per capita) north of the border? Spongers. 😬 Richy
  18. *arrowup*Did you try to change it while the engine was running? 😬 Richy
  19. Finishing off my build, I was working on securing the cabling for the Lambda sensor when, for some reason, I suddenly I leant backwards, the back of my head hit the front tyre, and my face rebounded into the exhaust pipe. Full-on eye contact. Unfortunately a week later I had to attend my sister-in-law's wedding!! The (very dark) bruising around my eye lasted well over a month. Guess who tried to hide at the back for the photos 😬 Richy
  20. Is it likely that the temp sender could be broken on an eight year old car? You're new to Seven's, aren't you 😬 *wavey*Richy
  21. 2 short strips approx 1" x 2" of 3M HD Velcro. I've used the normal velcro as well on trailers etc, but tend to use a lot more. Richy
  22. 3 years on velcro - hasn't come unstuck yet. Richy
  23. And Rob who farms there has an MK Indy in Gulf colours Richy
  24. Me probably. And it's Campden (with a 'p'; not the London sort ) My first 'spotted' Richy
