  1. Hello folks, I'm selling by beloved 7 to fund my racing addiction, and my 7 is too beautiful to race. I assembled it in 2016, my second 7, and my perfect specification. SO track biased, with the FIA Rollbar (with the cross) and left uncaged as I enjoy road trips as much as track days. This year it's only seen the light of day twice. So it's time to temporarily kiss goodbye to 7 ownership. I will be back, and as I enjoyed building it as much as driving it, I will build anoher in a few years time. Meanwhile, please check out this advert: https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/caterham/all-models/2016/9964323 Additionally, I created a build blog which is here: http://www.caterham420rbuild.com Note that I had a small nerf up the backside - a friend following me in his car drove into the back of me when I stopped at a roundabout. It was fixed 100% by Arch, as it needed a new rear basket and rear skin. At this point, I decided that I didn't like the Ford Frozen White colour that I originally ordered from Caterham BookATrack and switched to Porsche Birch Green, painted professionally (and of a higher quality than the original which was a bit soft). So the build blog shows white, and the advert shows its current green - trust me it's the same glorious car!!! Really want this car to go to a loving home, hopefully another club member! 2. I’m thinking about this too. Any advice welcome! I like the double D look, but are these available in SV size?
  3. As above, so many sources for this. If you have the Mazda 5 speed box, it’s fat, and hardly clears the chassis. This was the source of my vibration. Has to be seated perfectly to not rub in my experience with my 2016 car.
  4. i'm thinking about doing one or two of these sprints this year (the first Curborough, and Blyton). I have an SV and need a petty strut. Where's the best place to buy one from?
  5. Thanks for adding NorthernBanana, wonderful!
  6. On the “folders” query I think this would make it really hard to manage. I get that just a long list of routes is a bit of a challenge, in fact my own personal route list is so long now I have started to think about grouping routes into folders. But I think currently it would be easier to keep the structure “flat” and see where we are in a few months when the route count is greater. Remember that the library view (in effect the zoomable map view in the club page) is the best way of finding routes.
  7. Hi folks, sorry I’ve not reviewed this section of BlatChat for a while, work and home life hectic at the moment. A few folk in this thread raise an excellent suggestion. I too think it would be useful that the author of a route does not relinquish their rights to remove or edit their routes after “published” to the group. Give me a chance to speak to the devs at MRA and we will see what we can do. Thanks Marcus
  8. Pleasure! Really enjoyed recording it, so not a chore at all :)
  9. thanks for putting this together - perfect for a planned trip next Spring!
  10. We wanted to make the new service as easy as possible for club members to use and decided to create a video to help guide you. It's available here: It takes 15 minutes to watch the whole video, but there is a table of contents in the description section of the YouTube video, helping you to skip to the right place for you, and save some time! You will learn how to Participate, find and use group routes Edit and create your own routes Share your routes back to other club membersThank you!
  11. And Andy, if you have a plan for a great route from UK to Le Mans, why not consider mapping it out for the group in the new Blat Maps service?! I'm planning to go to the next Le Mans Classic and would love to see a good route for the trip...
  12. Christophe, wonderful, phew! And even more wonderful I see that you have added a series of routes into Cornwall, which is fantastic and exactly what we are all hoping for - and the reason for this new service. Thank you so much for your contributions!
  13. Very odd Christophe. We know that things are working Ok at our end, as our small team of admins is accepting requests to join the Lotus7Club group through our pages every day. I'm out of suggestions other than the activation email is in your spam/junk folder, or you typed it in incorrectly ;) If no luck, I think your suggestion of trying another one of your email addresses would be the way forward... Thanks Marcus
  14. Hi Christophe, If you created your MyRouteApp account from our BlatMaps page (within Guides section), then when you click on "participate" you either register and we receive your registration and accept you into the private group, or you log in to your existing MyRouteApp account and we do the same thing. If you "just" have a standalone MyRouteApp account, then you have to go through this process to "join" the L7C group and the routes within.
  15. Today I logged onto our site and into the new BlatMaps route planning and saw a few new routes had been added from our club start point with existing routes (and a few of my own). A big thank you to Simon Houghton for adding "Taunton to Woolacombe" and Graham Howard for adding "Paul Marriott Memorial Blat". Really hoping that this is the start of loads of members uploading their favourite local routes for the benefit of all! Thanks Marcus
