Duratec installation to a sigma car... anyone done it?

Yes, I've done it. If your fitting an R500 system its fine, so I would think the R300 system will be Ok also. I fitted a main loom as I found it easier than modifying the Sigma loom. -

You always have to trim them to get them to fit well.

Regulator is next to the tank and the return is from there back to the tank, saves running two fuel hoses to the front.

Check the coil loom, common cause of misfires. Injector plugs and TPS also known to cause problems.

The Mazda box is fitted with a new front casing and a separate bellhousing. New chassis have a slightly different tunnel and a removable gearbox mounting plate that can be configured for Ford or Mazda gearbox.

Its not unknown for the plates in the Titan diff to make a noise, I would jack the back up a see if there is still pre;load on the diff.

Its a drain tube, for condensation , moisture etc.

It's not the pump, it's the mounting assembly that's no longer available.

You need the correct lead and a copy of Easymap. Have a look at SBDs website.

They are no longer used, the rubber mounts now have a restraint built into the mount.

It is the pump mounting which has been the problem, not the pump I believe.

Its not a Ford part, its a Rover part. Rover parts are thin on the ground these days.

Yes, Mazda 5 speed boxes are now being used.

I wouldn't bother with the Quaife box, I'd use the Sadev box. Having driven both I'd rather stick with the H pattern than use the Quaife box.

Has any one got a single hoop rollover bar as used on the Vauxhall race cars?

As far as I can tell the setup will fit both chassis, the lower plate that the tank sits on may be slightly different.
