  1. Thanks Shaun. (As per the email) All sorted for me now. My pictures are all back with me again.
  2. There is a picture gallery migration problem for me too. My picture gallery has been migrated to "hoopies car".
  3. As above I have emailed Sam but if anyone else can help, has access too or will be visiting the ESV, I will happily pay for club stickers and the P&P to send them up to me in Scotland.
  4. Good idea. I have sent her an email to find out.
  5. I’m looking for few Lotus 7 Club stickers. I had a look in the “shop” Lotus 7 Club Regalia but there is nothing there. I have read in the past it is possible to get them from the Club ESV. Does anyone know how I can get a few without a visit to the ESV and what stickers are available?

  7. Quoting Ben Fung: Dam, the sender isn't on the radiator! Looking round the cooling system i can see two connectors on a pipe under the thermostat housing. I would guess that one is the temp sensor for the stack dash and the other is sender for the fan. One connector is with spade connectors and the other is a more substantial plastic one. Does anybody know which is which or if I am complexly off the the mark. Sorry Chris, I'm not sure to be honest and I can't check it against my car for you at present. If it is the two sensors behind the engine just infront of the battery then yes I think you are correct but I am not sure which is which (at a total guess the more substantial one is for the stack). The only thing from memory I am sure about is the connector for the fan is behind the radiator and the large plastic air deflector tongue thing, the connector is cable tied to the chassis top cross bar somewhere. Have you checked the stack dash for the max / min readings the car has seen (since it was last reset). To do this press the top right button next to the stack to cycle through the different screens. Bottom left button to see the max / min readings. Edited by - simpy on 24 Aug 2014 15:15:49
  8. Is it actually overheating? From memory the fan on my R500D does not come on till about 105 degrees is displayed on the stack dash. It never feels good to see that but never had any issues and I have also been told that its fine and working correctly.
  9. Thanks Tim, They look like Duratec drawings as they match up with the car from what I can see at a quick glance and they were drawn in 2007/8 when the Duratec R500 was first released.
  10. Quoting Roadracer1977: I do have a plumbing guide for the dry sump that I can send you, Blatchat mail sent
  11. I have now checked what was in the stack and compared this with the info from the Avon website and there was less than 10mm difference, this works out at less than 0.5% on the speed. So taking onto account tyre wear etc its nothing. I will however check it against the sat nav just to confirm. For what its worth my speed sensor is on the front left wheel too. Thanks for the help and advice.
  12. Thanks, Jonathan and Mic. If anyone can help with any of the diagrams on the first post too that would be great.
  13. 😶‍🌫️ A photo will not be easy due to the position but I will try to take one and add it later but for now, On the passengers side of the engine, towards the back, there is the starter solenoid with the fat red cable to it. Directly next to this is the started motor which is bolted onto the engine. Out the bottom of it at the end not bolted to the engine is the tube black in colour and just hanging down not connecting to anything all this is directly above the oil filter. Not sure what else to add, off now to try to take a photo of it. It can be seen in this photohere Edited by - simpy on 1 Jun 2014 09:18:02
  14. This may be a stupid questions but I'm going to ask it anyway. In trying to know my car a bit better like what and where things are on the engine etc, I found on the underside of the starter motor there is a short tube about 25mm long what is this for and its purpose ?
