  1. Bruce .... I'll take the alternator if it is for EU3 k-series. Photo would be good .... down your way Boxing day.
  2. Yes. The new bearings both have rubber seals built in.
  3. As I said .... I got fed up with constant adjustments ..... and liked the peace of mind having fatter shafts and decent sized sealed bearings.
  4. There are regular track days at Brands Hatch circuit. This is only 45 minutes from Dover
  5. Sounds like old style standard bearings. I found these needed constant adjustment as the outer bearing is so tiny. They really should be greased and have a dust cover fitted to keep the grit and water out. I upgraded to fatter stub shafts and sealed bearings for peace of mind ... and to get rid of that horrible felt seal ! Easy upgrade to fit !! Old parts sell easily too
  6. Must be loads on eBay or at a breakers.
  7. The larger ones are the same bearing inner and outer. No felt seal either.
  8. We had a L7C visit there this year. Fantastic company.

  13. I'll take them for a friend. I am over your way next Saturday.

  16. This is the company I used http://www.jwtransmissions.co.uk
  17. You could buy another two helmet kits ...... plug, leads, speakers and boom mikes, then buy a couple of pairs of Peltor Optime 3 ear defenders from your local Arco ... and fit the kits to them. Easy enough. Need a hot melt glue gun. I have done a few now. Happy to help if needed.
  18. Can you make a round hole in the wall of the tunnel to access it .... then fit a rubber grommet to fill the hole ?
  19. Good news. Richard's legacy lives on in his retirement.
  20. I got my propshaft overhauled and balanced at a company in Bexleyheath. Several places around that do this sort of stuff. May end up with a better job than buying a new one !
  21. In BlatChat ...... why yes, it appears you are
