    test

    How about Shift+ARSE ? :-)
  2. Austin A35 for racing I believe.
  3. I expressed surprise when collecting a new style sender from CC Parts ..... they said to just use original connector at 90 degrees. Another example of product cheapening.
  4. That's what Mic appears to suggest .... and he should know.
  5. A chat with Phil at Road & Race would be a good idea.
  6. Anyone driving on the E40 past Aalst, then crossing the Channel and passing Dartford in the next couple of weeks ? A friend has a gearbox to move if space available.
  7. Could be rose joints on Watts linkage. They are almost a consumable item that need replacing every couple of years. I have a tame supplier of bearings if needed. Easy to change. Could also be drop links on rear ARB. I got fed up with these ... and removed the ARB. Car handles much better without. Could be the rubber bushes on the front ARB ... Try silicone spray on the clamps. Noise does travel round a car like the 7 .... and fool you. Could be the rubber bushes on the rear suspension. Try pushing down or lifting up the rear of the car when no one in it. May help trace the noise ... rather than when driving. Excuse lack of carriage returns .... BC doesn't hear them on android phone.
  8. Is there something very different about the CSR ..... on my SV it is very easy to drop the diff out once prop, one drive shaft and three big bolts have been removed. Gravity is a useful feature !
  9. Newish product, so I guess not many surplus to requirements. Get a price from Soft bits.

    Switched Live?

A switched live has 12V on when the ignition is switched on.
  11. The headlight overpowers the sidelight. On my Mazda6 the sidelight is separate ..... and the Cree LED is still very bright ... even compared to the bi-xenon headlights ! Sorry ... wasn't at home during daylight today.
  12. I use the Cree LED shown in the first post. They are really bright at night. Not sure they would qualify as DRL though. Will look in daylight when I get a chance.
  13. Done a few k-series cam belts now. Always got away with a big screwdriver wedged into flywheel teeth .... one side of the engine or the other. Last one was undone using visible bit of flywheel on right hand side of engine (drivers side in UK). You do need a second person to hold the screwdriver in place though. Beats removing the starter.
  14. I suppose there must be .... never had to touch it when removing pulley, so didn't realise it was there.
  15. No roll pin on my rear pulleys ? Just a bolt into the end of the shaft. Well .... that's all I have ever removed to take a pulley off to change the rear belt.
  16. You are a bit limited for choice with 14" wheels. May want to consider changing to 13" ?
  17. Sure 190 is OK. There is clearance to guard. I'll take them
  18. Didn't notice the reducers. Let me check again
  19. Mine is 185 x 20 x 2.5 ..... so I'm out.
  20. Will measure as soon as I get home from Maidstone.
  21. I will take them if they fit.
