  1. I was hoping to replace the existing broken shield with one someone might have removed from their old car. I do have a reflective wrap on the solenoid already but didnrt want to wrap heat in the motor itself with a blanket - the heat shield allows a flow of air between whilst reflecting heat from the headers..
  2. Does anyone have a spare fabricated heat shield to fit a K Series covering the starter motor? Exhaust headers are Powerspeed. Previous one was steel brackets and ally plate fitted to the exhaust header bolts.
  3. What a great circuit, I had been told to expect difficulties with off camber corners etc but I have to say I had a blast. Not literally like Dave did - hope you have fixed your car! My first visit and enjoyed it very much thanks to the organisers and fellow trackees.
  4. Great work you two. Anglesea was teriffic this year and there are several tracks I havent driven before on this list.
  5. Im in the Prince Llewellyn also but only for the Thursday night. See you all then.
  6. I have the Pace set up on an 1800 K Series with the kidney tank sat in front of the block. Very happy with it and a reliable system, touch wood. If you need any photos or other info let me know. Tim
  7. Five bags for my Powerspeed exhaust.
  8. I used Acousta-Fil Boa too, in fact theres a photo of me in mid can action in my profile pic (I dont get out much!). My 2005 1.8 K Series has a Powerspeed system which failed a pre test at Castle Coombe last year being over the limit set at 100dbA. I bought several bags from Acousta-Fil and the measured level on the day was 96dbA a pretty good reduction. Easy process to fill and the Boa is not at all abrasive to handle. Pretty easy to take the can off the car too if you are finding it difficult to get the last Allen screw out of the can - you know the one directly facing the side skin which is slightly chewed up.
  9. Yes that was me. I tried rubbing strawberries into the bodywork but it didnt work.
  10. Right by the bridge in Burford. I was in orange SV heading to a driving experience at Enstone.
  11. Sorry to see youre selling your car Andrew. Hope to see you soon, at a more sedate pace probably.
  12. I'm looking for a single four point Caterham harness with quick release buckle. Doesnt need to be in date.
