  1. You were heading towards Ludgershall and I was on the 'Spitfire' heading the other way - both looking at each other's mode of transport! Nice day for it.
  2. Parked up in the petrol station. Glinting in the sun. Nice day for it.
  3. flashed past me as I parked, didn't have enough time to wave
  4. parked up, glinting in the sun.
  5. Heading South on the A36. Nice day for it - nicer than the last few anyway. BCNU.
  6. I will post some when it's done Felix... so don't hold your breath :)
  7. Thanks Jonathan, I will look them up as they're reasonably close. Without going into the specifics (because I get angry when i think about it and I don't need the stress) I have gone down the 'start standard and modify' route and the result has been several years of aggravation with the only consistent element being a beautiful car stuck in limbo... This morning I have found a chap in Wiltshire who specialises in re-wiring bikes and vintage cars from scratch and since my car is bordering on vintage (insert joke about length of rebuild here...) and has a bike engine then he may be perfect. But I am still open to suggestions. S
  8. It's not M-B. It's about as far from standard as one can get - although I am wishing I had left it...
  9. My 7 has been undergoing a rebuild for (seemingly) the last 100 years... Long story short; when it comes to the electrical side of the car I've been advised that I probably should rip out the wiring looms and start again. Does anyone have a recommendation for an automotive electrical specialist who could build and install a full wiring set-up for me? All suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance. Simon
  10. BRG with Stripe heading West. I was in the MX5 that trailed you for a while and then turned off into the Services exit. Nice afternoon for a blat even if the A303 isn't the nicest blatting road!

    FH05 V**

Spotted 2-up southbound on the A34 @ 20:15 with a fully loaded bag on the boot. Yellow with a black half-hood. Off on hols or on way home - either way, better weather for it this evening!
  12. 3 in convoy up through the town centre. I was the lunatic shouting at the last one - funnily enough you sped up! Hope you're enjoying the Island's 'different' roads.
  13. Heard and then saw you leaving the car park this morning - Green I think - was a very short spot as I was looking through the main gate of the house as you flashed by on the other side. Nice departure: always good to show the big fat expensive cars how 'making progress' is really done.

    M115 ...

Amesbury, near Countess Services, about 1:30pm, 2 up heading south on the A345. Didn't get a chance to wave but 'hello' nonetheless.
  15. Me, going north in the Green 'Monster' (v. old Toyota...) flashed and waved, thanks for the wave back! Hope you enjoy/ed the coast even if the traffic getting there was a little tiresome around Ringwood...
