  1. Thanks, Stephen. Two 21s independently sighted within the space of 2-3 hours has got to be a rare thing. It's amazing what a wrong turn can sometimes lead to.
  2. Yesterday I saw two Caterham 21s, thanks to a huge mistake. Upon leaving Manchester shortly after 9:00 a.m. to attend the PENN 7s monthly meeting, I inadvertently selected the wrong entry from my many pre-entered destinations in Google Maps, and was headed towards Carlisle. About 30 or 40 minutes into the journey, the sun appeared, and I noticed it was on the wrong side of the car. Oops! I made it there safely, but a bit over 2 hours later than I had intended, and profoundly embarrassed. On the way, just around Birmingham airport on the opposite (north-bound) side of the M42 I saw a silver 21. Then upon arrival at The Squirrel, I saw GJT's green 21 parked out front. Quite a rarity, I'd imagine!
  3. Nacimiento-Fergusson Road in Big Sur, California This is descending Nacimiento-Fergusson Road coming from the town of Jolon further inland. The road winds down to Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and a right-hand turn at PCH leads to Big Sur, California, and then on to Carmel and Monterey. An amazing drive in a 7, but little room for error. Just starting out with this blog thing. Hope I'm doing it right!? A bit further up the hill, where the Pacific Ocean first comes into view. And still further uphill, in a section of road I call the roller coaster because of the up/down/left/right geography of this section. Really fun!

  6. Is the company (Mr. Barnby) still active? The web page https://mb-racingwheels.com/ still appears, but the MB Racing Wheels page on facebook reads "Permanently Closed" and hasn't been posted to since 2021 April. But then, I'm not a frequent user of fb either, so that may not mean much.

    Test post?

Just a matter of time now before someplug comes along to tell us the sheds aren't really here.
  8. …or, we could discuss wristwatches, maybe. Naaah!
  9. Good Lord! Is it even possible!? Have the sheds been revived by *shudder* an American bloke? God help us all! Arrrrgggghhh!

    Test post?

It would appear the sheds have become largely obscured by some form of dense shrubbery, or whatever the electronic equivalent of that might be.
  11. They've since seen the light, apparently...

  14. I just searched the terms "throttle cable" and got loads of hits offering cables likely to be suitable, but the Speedy Cables link above looks like a great resource. Unfortunately for me, South Wales is a bit far for me to go for a cable.
