  1. Thanks, Stephen. Two 21s independently sighted within the space of 2-3 hours has got to be a rare thing. It's amazing what a wrong turn can sometimes lead to.
  2. Yesterday I saw two Caterham 21s, thanks to a huge mistake. Upon leaving Manchester shortly after 9:00 a.m. to attend the PENN 7s monthly meeting, I inadvertently selected the wrong entry from my many pre-entered destinations in Google Maps, and was headed towards Carlisle. About 30 or 40 minutes into the journey, the sun appeared, and I noticed it was on the wrong side of the car. Oops! I made it there safely, but a bit over 2 hours later than I had intended, and profoundly embarrassed. On the way, just around Birmingham airport on the opposite (north-bound) side of the M42 I saw a silver 21. Then upon arrival at The Squirrel, I saw GJT's green 21 parked out front. Quite a rarity, I'd imagine!
  3. Nacimiento-Fergusson Road in Big Sur, California This is descending Nacimiento-Fergusson Road coming from the town of Jolon further inland. The road winds down to Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and a right-hand turn at PCH leads to Big Sur, California, and then on to Carmel and Monterey. An amazing drive in a 7, but little room for error. Just starting out with this blog thing. Hope I'm doing it right!? A bit further up the hill, where the Pacific Ocean first comes into view. And still further uphill, in a section of road I call the roller coaster because of the up/down/left/right geography of this section. Really fun!

  5. Thank you, sir! This could be very useful to many. rutabaga
  6. Is the company (Mr. Barnby) still active? The web page https://mb-racingwheels.com/ still appears, but the MB Racing Wheels page on facebook reads "Permanently Closed" and hasn't been posted to since 2021 April. But then, I'm not a frequent user of fb either, so that may not mean much.

    Test post?

Just a matter of time now before someplug comes along to tell us the sheds aren't really here.
  8. …or, we could discuss wristwatches, maybe. Naaah!
  9. Good Lord! Is it even possible!? Have the sheds been revived by *shudder* an American bloke? God help us all! Arrrrgggghhh!

    Test post?

It would appear the sheds have become largely obscured by some form of dense shrubbery, or whatever the electronic equivalent of that might be.
  11. They've since seen the light, apparently...

    Test post?

Trying one last time for the night...

Testing & ideas section didn't seem to work, so...
  14. I just searched the terms "throttle cable" and got loads of hits offering cables likely to be suitable, but the Speedy Cables link above looks like a great resource. Unfortunately for me, South Wales is a bit far for me to go for a cable.
  15. It'll be on the left-hand side of the gearbox, near the back. Somewhat relevant photo:
  16. Or, maybe Shaun also does site maintenance for a Chinese gambling site, and merely got momentarily confused?
  17. Maybe because our pal Dru blocked the front entrance.
  18. Hi Shaun, Thank you for your reply. My primary suggestion was to make the "Helping Others" section and the "Test and Ideas" section click-able from the Blatchat pull-down in the blue banner, if possible. These sections appear to me to have content? The other sub-forums may be empty, I don't really know, and I have little or no use for them anyway. But I still think the primary suggestion remains valid, as I, and others, actually used the Test and Ideas section as it had been intended many times over the years. I must confess, as a member living 5,000+ miles from the UK, I have never used the Helping Others section much, if at all, but access to it being somewhat "hidden" (for want of a more apt term, sorry) drips with irony just from the title alone! Or so it seems to me. So I'll re-phrase my suggestion as: I believe the "Helping Others" and "Test and Ideas" sections should be accessible through the "Blatchat" mouse-over pull-down thingie in the blue banner, please.
  19. Suggestion: I believe the "Helping Others" and "Test and Ideas" sections, and possibly other currently non-visible member sections, should be accessible through the "Blatchat" mouse-over pull-down thingie in the blue banner, please. I have just been made aware of the rather indirect method of to access this section of the forum, ironically in the why don't you post so much anymore thread. Thank you,
  20. That's the one. Thank you, sir! Strangely, I'm happy. :)
  21. I'm seeking information on the fuel tank breather inlet, please. Long ago, I remember reading a post (or multiple posts?) describing, with photos, a fuel breather modification/enhancement with a "down/up/down" hose configuration and a one-way valve in-line. I have found a few old threads providing some insight, but nothing comprehensive, and nothing with photos (except pre-BC migration links, which are all inactive now). One post references Workshop Notice 371, a.k.a. WS 371. Can anyone provide some insight, please?
