  1. You will likely need to remove the starter before fitting the motor into the chassis, and then fit the motor mount brackets after the motor is in the chassis, but before it is taken off of the sling/hoist. Easy enough to do, once you have the sequence down.
  2. All the good ones are gay or married.
  3. Yes, I just looked at the Grizzly Bear Blat thread as an example, as I assumed it would contain relatively uncommon terms. Searched for "Minneapolis", copied from post #2 of the thread directly, and that thread did not appear in the (few) results. Then searched for "Vancouver" which was in post #1 of that thread, and the thread was in that search result. It does seem that the search function is only returning results from content found in post #1 of any given thread. Sean
  4. In my experience, the following statements are currently true: Search is omitting some (not all) results for at least some terms, in both new and legacy posts Search results are presented in a non-intuitive order Club management and/or their appointees are working diligently to resolve this, as well as a multitude of other issuesI'm okay with all of this, and I patiently await resolution of the issues. Thank you for your efforts.
  5. Hello Tazio, On the advice of others who had done so before me, I used a Earl's P/N 9894DBH fitting to go from Caterham's M14x1.5 Saginaw fitting to a AN-6 fuel line on my 2006 car. It has been working well thus far. -Sean
  6. I received an e-mail today from memsec@lotus7.club indicating, among other things, that the search function was now functioning properly. I could hardly wait to get home from work to try it out (because unlike the old site, I cannot view any of the new site from the office). However, I found the search function still does not return any results for a term I know has been used in multiple threads. W-h-a-a-a-t? While I appreciate the intent behind an e-mail being sent to keep the membership informed, the initial positive impact becomes significantly diminished when one of the statements in that update turn out to be untrue. edit -- The section of the e-mail referencing the search function:

    Table?

Plain text format second line edit -- each word below on a new line A-ha! Seems disabling rich text causes carriage return to function properly! edit -- No, it was the "Plain text" option within the "Text formats options" box that did it. I'll now post this on the sticky thread in Chit Chat.

    Table?

Testing after "Enable SCAYT" has been clicked - oh! "Spell Check As You Type", it would seem. second line third line last new line, but with rich text disabled for this line only

    Table?

Let's see how the above text works - supposed to be in a quote box.

    Table?

How the devil does "Table" work? Duratec 2.0 Duratec 2.3 87.5mm 87.5mm 83.1mm 94.0mm 1,999cc 2,261cc Not very well! (not intuitive to me, at least) edit -- It looks like a table when being composed or edited, but loses all formatting (except text style) when posted. Not too important, as I suspect this will be a feature not often used, but if it's there, one would expect it to work!

    Photo test

Hey, I was just out for a drive, and happened to witness some kind of animal kingdom mass suicide thing. Kind of like a Jonestown deal, but with winged insects. Anyway, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

  17. Thank you, Mr. Tango! http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.png It was seeming to me as though maybe I was the only one who thought this would be desirable.
  18. It wouldn't have to be 213-04.com for the alternate address. It could be BCindustries.com, or 7analytics.com, or arnie-vs-norman.com, or whatever made up name that didn't immediately throw up red flags. Probably good to be a .com though, as that is least likely to set off the flags.
  19. As I understand it, there is a possibility that some data may have been corrupted during the migration, and it is being looked into for resolution. Or so I believe.
  20. Seems to display a recent post, but not the most recent post. Being GMT+8 makes this particularly easy to notice. http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png
  21. Even those with multiple replies! Not critical, at least not to me, but still, a feature which is not functioning as intended. edit -- Unless the new forum has a "ignore bloody Americans" feature, which, if installed, seems to be working! http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/tongue_smile.png
  22. I tried searching for a single term that I know has been used in multiple threads well before the migration (by me), but got zero results. I then tried searching for other terms that I was sure would be more common ("fuel", "Freestyle", etc.) and did get results, though the order of the results seemed random. Trying to offer constructive points rather than snarky criticism here! http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png
  23. I created a new post a short while ago, and there was only the subject line. I then clicked on "edit", and the body text box was displayed, where I typed in text. I later tried to edit again, and no body text box was present, but re-loaded the page, and it was displayed again. Subsequent re-loads appeared to toggle the body text box on/off. A strange work-around, but it did work. Safari browser, Mac OS-Mountain Leopard or something whatever. edit -- I just created a new post in the "Bugs" section, and it lacked the body text box as before, but I found that a page refresh brought the body text box into view. http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/thumbs_up.png
  24. My guess is that this is primarily due to the .club domain suffix. Maybe it would be possible to re-allocate the old 214-03.com (I think that was it?) domain as an alternate for the new forum/site, like it was with BC way back when... last week? http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.png edit -- I'll read any replies approximately 24 hours from now, as you lot are all probably asleep now, and I'll be sleeping and then working during your day and evening. http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/sad_smile.png
