  1. I fitted a mechanical gauge to my wet sump Duratec and it goes over 100 PSI with new oil when cold which disconcerted me somewhat but it's been fine for thousands of miles since so I'm not that surprised that yours goes full scale - what did it go to before you had your sump problem? The way it goes below zero shows an electrical problem and probably the oil pressure is fine - my previous K Series did it once on the M3 but that turned out to be the alternator coming loose and resting on the pressure sender connection!
  2. DIY or do you want someone to do it for you? revilla may have a DIY answer, e.g. /forum/techtalk/exploiting-vulnerabilities-mems3-deploy-execute-arbitrary-code-utilities-ram
  3. Maybe, maybe not - there were a number of recreations not long ago, effectively new cars built on an old chassis and running gear.
  4. I replaced my crank sensor and it didn't seem to be particularly sensitive. Although since then I haven't had the car back on the road properly because there is an intermittent fault which kills the engine after 30 minutes or so
  5. I have a stopover in Calgary on Thursday, GONADS?
  6. You need a wideband lambda sensor, I borrowed one and mapped mine successfully (after much reading). Getting a map that basically runs OK should not be hard so if you have one already from an engine with a spec similar to yours and it's running really badly that suggests problems elsewhere - like the TPS (which you can check with one of the screens of the Emerald software).
  7. More here though not particularly helpful to your case.
  8. https://twitter.com/exploding_heads/status/1605169280957431810 That works.
  9. I often have something similar with links in BC to Twitter when using Firefox on my iPad, completely blank. I can only remember it happening with Twitter links and it was happening pre-Elon.
  10. edit: no the Emerald (K6) is not a direct swop and is a VERY complex rewire, made by Andrew. Are you sure? It's a number of years ago but I remember swapping to and fro between my Emerald and the old MEMS on my old EU2-engined car when debugging a starting problem. I have even vaguer memories of changing a wire on the connector but I think that was just to add the Emerald's map switch input.
  11. No, I didn't take one when I did it, sorry.
  12. I echo that and also I put a clevis joint on mine (like the brake but smaller) after the second time the cable snapped.
