  1. Hi Roger, That sounds fine If you drop me a Blatmail with the address where it needs to go I'll investigate postage costs and let you know. All the best Richard

  3. Spark eroders are great fun and can be very handy.... When I was an apprentice I spent two weeks making a very complicated flow metering station for a liquid sodium rig out of a piece of bonded (i.e. very expensive) billet stainless steel. I'd done all the complicated stuff and was just drilling the holes in the flanges when I snapped a centre drill ☹️, normally you would just drill it out from the other side, but because of the shape of the flow metering station I couldn't get a drill onto the other side of the flange and as such I got to use the spark eroder As I recall it was a fairly large machine (a bit like a pillar drill - only much more pyrotechnical 😬) and it saved the day If you can get a portable one I imagine the difficulty would be to keeping the thing in a straight line and only eroding what you want it to erode.... I hope the tap extractor works out for you. All the best Richard

    Track day tyres

They certainly felt a bit funny on the road The other thing to be mindful of with ACB10's is that because they are a hand made tyre it is fairly critical that they are fitted correctly for directional rotation as they could potentially un-peel if fitted the wrong way round All the best Richard

    Track day tyres

Hi, Just in case you aren't aware ACB10's are crossply tyres and your car will almost certainly have been set up for radial tyres. All the best Richard
  6. Having just checked the Caterham web site it is suggesting that the Avon ZZR tyre is a new alternative to the CR500. They certainly appear cheaper than the CR500's and look pretty slick 😬 Details can be found here All the best Richard
  7. Hi Jskyrme has one for sale here All the best Richard

  13. Not that I'm in the market, but keeping an eye on Pistonheads (as you do) £16,500.00 seems very reasonable for an SV Good luck with the sale All the best Richard
  14. On the M27 this evening at around 6ish, heading towards Portsmouth. A green one with yellow nose band and stripe (cycle wings) closely followed by a black and ally one and then a little farther back another green one with yellow nose (clams). Given the atrocious weather, the only reason to be out in them would be the Classic All of you had your half hoods on All the best Richard

    TOYO R888

Hi Skip, I'll have this subject to a quick check of the compound I am currently using. I'll blatmail you in a little while..... (after I've been out to the garage!) All the best Richard
  22. Hi Simon, I bought a set of these extension tubes for my EOS 20D a few years ago and they are excellent. There are cheaper alternatives around which don't have the contacts to allow the auto focus and through lens metering to work, but certainly I would recommend these. If you can wait until the 9th of June I could meet you at Fleet services on my way to the channel tunnel, and you'd be more than welcome to borrow them for a week to see what you think whilst I'm driving to Rome and back.... All the best Richard
  23. A colleague spotted a Blue Seven driving through Romsey at about 8:15am this morning. A great day for it! All the best Richard
  24. I suspect that might have been Tiny Tim All the best Richard
