  1. Are you going to ask him for the chassis number?
  2. I concur, I'd have said Locust too.
  3. Hi, we were heading the other way but in a boring tin top that you wouldn't have noticed! Hope you had a good day out :) Btw it was just after 10am. Edited by - skeetsy on 16 Apr 2011 10:16:01

    Avon ACB10's

I have just swapped the ACB10's which came on a secondhand set of wheels for TOYO R888's and as such the ACB10's are surplus to requirements.... I have two 7.0/21.0-13 78V's, tyre type 6898 and two 8.0/22.0-13 89V's, tyre type 6899 All four are just about road legal (they're not down to the wear bars yet) but would make great track day tyres for a car which is set up for crossplys I don't want anything for them personally but a contribution to NTL would seem appropriate. Due to size and weight (although very light for tyres!) collection only, or possible delivery if I'm likely to be driving your way
  5. Hi Steff, I saw this thread when it started and did the same mod a couple of weeks back and i put the resistor in the +ve feed to the LED and it works a treat. All the best Richard
  6. Hi Baz, I think I may have one spare if you are interested and one is all you need? Yours for £8.00p, I get down to Haywards Heath from time to time so may even be able to deliver Let me know. All the best Richard

    Lenses

If I were to bid for these fine items I'm not entirely sure that I would want to take the risk of having such fragile things posted! (I believe that the fog lamp lenses are made of something akin to sugar glass!) Could I collect in person?
  8. Hi, I'd like first dibs depending on where in the country you are I'm in Dorset, but I regularly drive to Ipswich on business, and also across to Haywards Heath. Let me know where you are and if I can collect it I'll gladly donate to NTL. All the best, Richard
  9. Hi, I used some plastic pry bars to get mine off so that I could apply R500 style stripes :) If you don't have any of them then I would imagine that a plastic knife from a picnic set (the sort of thing you can buy in the supermarkets - not the brittle disposable stuff) would do just as well.
  10. Hi, you were trundling through the traffic at around 11:00am. According to the temperature display on the dashboard it was 4 deg C! - I hope you had your heater on :)
  11. Yellow and ally (I think but it was dark!) Heading towards Flexford Road... Heaven is a yellow 7 :)
  12. Hi, I have a standard track S3 (2005 chassis) so if you are confident it will fit my car I'll have this off you. I work in Southampton so I could collect at some point in the week from Fareham :) All the best, Richard Heaven is a yellow 7 :)
  13. On the A31 heading towards Ringwood at 11:15am - nice day for it! Heaven is a yellow 7 :)
  14. Spotted on the Ringwood Road, heading out of Poole at about 1:50pm this afternoon. Hope you had a good blat Richard Heaven is a yellow 7 :)
  15. It seems everyone has an opinion so here's mine..... I use Mer bumper and external vinyl cleaning gel, http://www.merproducts.com/car-bodywork/bumper-and-vinyl-cleaner I like it because it's quick and it does a good job. Richard Heaven is a yellow 7 :)
  16. Hi Phil, I've just started getting to grips with the forums and yes that was me! I'd been across to the Isle of Wight on business for the day and was enjoying the drive home 😬 Heaven is a yellow 7 :)
  17. Thanks Miura, That'll do nicely, I'll call you to arrange the collection. Kind regards Richard. Heaven is a yellow 7 :)
  18. Hi Folks, As a fairly new owner of a 1.8 K Series Roadsport (S3) I am already considering upgrades and I would like to fit a four branch manifold (for the look of the thing as well as potential improvements in performance). As such if anyone has upgraded their R400 and has the old system gathering dust I would be very interested, ideally with a CAT, but this is not essential. Many thanks Richard. Heaven is a yellow 7 :)
