If you have a red key emergency cut off switch try turning it on and off a few times. If that doesn't work try a little pressure on the key as you crank the engine. Happened on my crossflow.
Good suggestions already, but I would also go through the fuses and clean all the contacts. Also my crossflow would start fine but not the next time after switching off. That turned out to be the master switch. Good luck.
Yes I was going to say possible faulty condenser. I have the pertronix ignitor system. I had major reliability problems a few years ago and eventually found a crack in the magnet. I did replace it and also the fuel pump. No problems since. You will need to redo the timing as it wasn't the same as points. You can also chuck the points back in if ever required Baz.
Just been reading on piston heads an article about the Minder capri going up in flames. The comments are suggesting that the current specification of petrol is melting the fuel hoses. Any advice on this, regarding what should be used would be gratefully received. P's any youngsters will have to Google Minder/Dennis Waterman. Baz.
That's a weird coincidence, I was looking for some paint and brushes in the garage earlier and found a seven hiding under all the dust covers. It always looks so good when you take the covers off. Baz
HWS what did the refurbishment involve, was it a clean up and a service kit? Also who did you get to carry out the work. It's getting difficult to find a weber guru. Cheers baz.
Just by the entrance to the castle. I did give a wave from the tin top. You have possibly the meanest black visor ever. It does look good with the car. Baz.
