  1. Have you tried Demon Tweeks? here All the best Richard
  2. Hi Dave, Thanks for the photos, but those look like the steering rack track rod ends rather than what I thought you were selling (i.e. the wishbone top tie ends which are the one's that adjust the camber). So not for me I'm afraid. All the best Richard Edited to add they look in good nick for having done 4,000 miles Edited by - skeetsy on 9 May 2013 21:03:24
  3. Could I have some photos please? To see what sort of condition they are in after 4,000 odd miles on the car... All the best Richard
  4. Hi Elie, I've offered the manifold up to the old head and I'm afraid it would bring the carb up above the rocker cover by a fair bit (20mm ish at the rear flanges) Sorry to have got any hopes up. All the best Richard
  5. Hi Elie, I will take some measurements and photos and let you know, I don't have a Mini any more but I think I've got an old head lying around so I'll see what I can sort out. in terms of price I'll see what sort of condition it's in and let you know, but I wouldn't think I'd be asking more than £30.00 for it plus postage... All the best Richard
  6. I might have a swan neck style manifold for a single side draught DCOE kicking about somewhere if that is any use to you? All the best Richard
  7. Spotted on the A30 heading towards Honiton at about 11:00am. I was a little jealous as you went past me All the best Richard

    Best jack

I've been pondering getting one of these I'm fed up of having raise the car up onto blocks of wood before my existing jack will fit underneath 😔 All the best Richard Edited by - skeetsy on 18 Apr 2013 13:02:01
  11. Quoting AdamQ: FWIW, here's where mine sits: here and here. Adam Hi Adam, What engine are you running? and also what stops the battery flying about? (aside from gravity) I'd have thought you would need a strap over the top... All the best Richard
  12. Hi again Rullingen, The size of the output pipe on the collector isn't really a problem as on my old system the existing single pipe was cut at the start of the cone onto the CAT. Then a new pipe was welded in to suit the collector. All the best Richard Edited by - skeetsy on 29 Mar 2013 23:25:16
  13. Hi Rullingen There is a link to photos in the original post, and the exhaust looks to me to be a long branch race exhaust just like mine My car is a 2005 Roadsport and as such had the single side pipe with the CAT in the exhaust before I changed it. You will still need a CAT for the MOT, however, I had my original exhaust modified to fit the new primaries and collector by a local specialist exhaust fabricator, it cost me about £100. All the best Richard
  14. No problems Rob, it's just that in the photos (since there was a tape alongside the prop) it looked to me to be about 52cm between the UJ's. All the best Richard
  15. There's a prop for sale on Piston heads here All the best Richard
  16. Hi Nothing to do with me, but I'll need to go and check someone hasn't stolen the wheels off my Seven! 😬 here I think they look the nuts, but then I'm biased All the best Richard
  17. Quoting BudJuggler: sparkle black (which is black and sparkly) That made me chuckle 😬 All the best Richard
  18. When I did mine a couple of years back it was, as others have said, one primary at a time, incrementally enlarging the hole to suit each primary. Lots of masking tape around the current hole. I also used a large repair washer to run round the new primary with a sharpie pen in the centre so that I got a nice clear line which was about 15mm larger than the primary. for cutting the hole I initially tried a dremel, but wasn't terribly happy with the noise and vibration in the side skin, so I ended up using a Monodex shear to cut the aluminium, they work better on straight lines to be honest, but it worked fine with care. If you'd like to borrow my monodex then drop me a blatmail All the best Richard
  19. Hi Can I put a dibs on this for Johnny Seven? He's been looking for one for ages.... I'll give him a call and get him to BM you. All the best Richard
  20. Although you don't say I'm guessing the aeroscreen is also for the SV? if not I may be interested..... All the best Richard
  21. Hi I spotted you in Bournemouth at approximately 9:00am this morning driving along Holdenhurst Road towards the train station All the best Richard
  22. Just a small word of caution (having been down this route myself ☹️) make sure you know what width of rear anti-roll bar you need for your car before you buy someone else's kit because not all imperial chassis use the same type.... I bought a brand new in the bag, never fitted, rear ARB and then having got all the bits needed to fit it, alloy mounts from Redline, drop link bits and bobs, nuts, bolts washers etc. - when I came to offer it up to the car it was never going to fit because it was too narrow All the best Richard
  23. You could try a local insulation contractor, they should be able to get hold of a slab of phenolic foam insulation for you, it's used extensively for insulating ductwork, but it might have a silver foil applied to one face... All the best Richard
