  1. Thanks Virden, Blatmail sent Richard
  2. Ellie /Verdin, Do you know of a picture that you could link too that shows this. I have an early 1988 car and would be interested to know if / how the 'half wishbone kit would fit. Is this a CC part ? Thanks Richard
  3. You have blatmail re: Exhaust manifold, collector and repackable Techcraft silencer to suit cross flow. Richard
  4. Recently got some from Martin H (left over from the last bulk buy). 😬 Try a search for "Current Model Supersport - Shift light" and you should find his post from 13 September Richard
  5. Have you tried the RPM Check facility. Press and hold the 'UP' button while switching on the ignition. All LEDs will illuminate for 1 second, then display will show '0000'. Start engine. You should get actual revs displayed Above taken from Installation and Operation Manual. Richard
  6. Hi Bob When I was asking around for someone to look at my X/Flow I was given the name of Aaron Turner at 'HT Racing'. They are based near Brands Hatch Tel. 01474 872888 NB. I have no experience of them but a Google search shows they have RR setup. Richard
  7. Another for the 2 Steve's Richard x/Flow 'Vulcan' Super Sprint
  8. HWS, Have you seen the tank for sale comming from Finland? Richard
  9. Yep. My Clams are uneven. But you don't notice it from the driving position 😬 You will probably need to undo the stay if you intend to 'bend it' but be careful to make sure the bolt hole still lines up. Richard
  10. HWS, There are 2 wires from the fuel guage sender. You will see a disc with 8 screws The wire in the centre is connected to the sender. If your car is as old as mine be careful when you come to undo the nut as the sender shaft may rotate in the housing causing the wire connection inside to come adrift. I find it easier to undo all 8 screws and remove the sender unit before lifting the tank out. I have removed the tank about 4 times in he last year due to leaks and it takes about 30 min. It will need the roll bar removed. Richard
  11. Tom, I had the same problem. While at Silverstone for the Classic I picked up a couple of bulb holders from the SVC stand. £2.00 each. These are rubber and fitted the headlights perfectly. Richard
  12. Mine turned up at the weekend, but when I came to fit found the bulb holder is bayonet? Tried a search but could only find one with 5 LEDs How do they do it £1.35 all the way from HH air mail Richard
  13. From memory the front rails had holes 'ready' but I still needed to drill through the floor and bolt from underneath the car. Richard Edited by - Richard K on 16 Jul 2012 18:34:50
  14. C B I have an early DD car (1989) I changed from bench seat to Pre S type The bottom of the seats have runners that bolt onto the rail at the leading front edge (This stops the bench seat base moving forward) The other end of the runner fits onto 'lugs' where the Ali back support meets the floor The 'runners' are effectively a straight bar that rest on the floor with up turned ends ---I................................... I--- Check if you have the rear fixing points Richard Edited by - Richard K on 16 Jul 2012 18:29:37
  15. Have you thought about the mesh used for rust repair holes. With the 'filler' items at Halfrauds etc... Or is this to soft Richard
  16. Just tried the link and the price is showing as £51.35 Richard
  17. Hi Grubbster. looking again at the pic. I think the plate on my car if a different location. When I was looking for a anti roll bar earlier, I contacted Redline and they said that the bar for my age of car has been made for some time. I'll have to pass. Over to you Jack Richard
  18. Just checked and my car has similar plate but only two holes ? Do you know if it is important that there should be three. Richard
  19. Hi, Can I have first dibs. Will it fit an 'early' DD car? 1989 Richard
  20. Thanks James, NB. It did not spoil the fun on the day. A friend was driving and having a great time spinning in the wet 😬 I only noticed once were ready to leave and the peddle seemed further away. I will fix at the weekend. Richard
  21. Car is a X/Flow super sprint on 40 Webbers After an ‘Airfield Day’ at Northweald on Friday I discovered that my throttle peddle had moved. On lifting the bonnet I found the bar that runs between the bottom of the carbs and supports the ‘return spring’ had become completely detached. Does anyone know the bolt length and thread size I needed to reattach it. Thanks Richard
  22. I also have received the 'leathery' doors. My car is similar to Trosky in age (1989 Long C.pit DD) Having thought about it over night I think they will fit with trimimg front and back. The front, I hope to pursuade inside the scuttle edge. Not quite sure how it will go but I'll just take my time. Richard
  23. Email sent to Steve today. 'Leathery' Richard K
  24. Can you add me to the list Leathery I have not contacted Steve but will send you blatmail with my details. Richard
  25. The bulb does have a thread. It V. small and I used a pair of point nosed pliers to grip / turn. Richard
