Ironically I haven't changed my fronts to the new LED Wipacs yet. Are your planned ones going to have dual (switchback) DRL/Indicator capability as that would be a great move?
Doug, I can fully understand the need for better (LED) rear lights that maintain the look of the original Caterham lights and yours look absolutely brilliant if you'll excuse the pun... but why would you now look to invent better front indicators when Wipac have already done so with an LED version (fully CE marked) of the Caterham/ Land Rover front indicators?
Ian's bits are at: 18:48 35:50 41:08 (Logo) 51:06 http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b09070t1/watchdog-series-38-episode-6 So what did they Google to find a reputable professional then Ian?
If you have cause to go there again, you may like to visit The Hive which is an amazing eatery owned by one of our very own, Paul 'Porkie' Evans. He and his wife run it and it's definitely worth a stop... amazing food and great coffee https://www.facebook.com/hivestow/
As Anthony said further up, they are designed to fold in half and fit behind the roll bar but in front of the two rear angled uprights/roll bar supports. One needs to go in from either side and then they can be pushed together quite snugly.
If they have been on as long as your nosecone badge then unbolt that and check underneath. The fading (or not) there will tell you what's changed (or not) under your stripes.
Aha, yes Stuart that was indeed me... and yes it was indeed a bit brusque... I'd been with my dad down to a Car SOS reveal in Worcestershire (on National Geographic channel tonight funnily enough) with a group of invitees from the Club. 78 years old, 3 new knees (!) and he still loves getting out in the car... and driving it too. 122mph GPS (on a track day). It takes him a while to get in but, with S-type seats, he is happy to sit there all day once in. Thanks for this... my first ever propoer spotted I think, after 10 years.
Deep red with twin white stripes - amazing red colour, a bit like that Clio or Mazda deep pearly red. Top down Driver in black beanie Going towards Hinckley down Church Hill in Wolvey, Warwickshire 12.15 pm Friday 3 February
BP Ultimate Unleaded is indeed stated as 97 RON but I would think the word after it says volumes... "minimum". Super has always been 98ish to Normal's 95ish strength, so I imagine you'll be fine... and it certainly beats putting Normal in.
Another one for McMillan Motorsport, at Hinckley, one mile over the Warks border into Leics. They did mine for me as same time as changing my Billies for Avos... can't work out which transformed the car more though!! http://mcmm.co.uk/road/4560639425
If it was RX09 but with the F as the next letter after that then it was fellow Wolvey member Jon Wiggins. Mid blue metallic with a silver nose hoop and bonnet stripe
