Having read archives , didn't find any answers ? Hence posted my question ........!

For now I will be using my standard seat belts with my Grp bucket seats . However I will need to extend the socket as the seat hides it ! I've seen two types on eBay . 1 being connected to a belt that's about 300 mm long and the other is about the same length but is a rigid type extension ? Anyone know which is best ? Thanks

Agree , but awaiting Replies before going down that route ! My guess would be 25kg reduction and possibly 0.5 sec quicker 0-60 ?

I have fitted 15" anthracite alloys cr tyres instead of prisoner alloys. Changed clamshell wings for cycle arches , changed leather seats for grp buckets , and removed the spare wheel and carrier . What would the total weight loss be now ? According to the log book it weighed 540kg before ! Also what would the improved 0-60 time be . It's a 1.4 k series . Thanks

Some good advice so far , from my experience I've used penetrating spray ( and left it for a few hours to work ! ) once the bolt has moved , gently tighten and loosen the bolt until it's seems free to undo fully . If you need to use any drill bits and taps let me know I can loan you mine no probs .

Hi all , is there a kit that you can buy that inc all bolts,nuts,washers, and possibly bushes for upper and lower wish bones , and also the Dion at the rear ? Also are there any local garages ( Birmingham ) or even better a part / private mechanic that you'd recomend to work on a caterham ? Thanks

Prisoner 15" Alloys set of 5 all with centre caps and locking Keys and in very good condition . All fitted with tyres 2 are excellent bridge stones ( these are free with the wheels ) . £275 . But if 5 people want to buy a single alloy as a spare I'm happy to do that ! Also have a pair of clam shell wings with seals & brackets in good condition ( but red has faded ) £65 pair Standard Roll bar black very good condition £30. All open to offers . Thanks
