YoSDeNS AR
The driver usint is integral. I'm using 5+" shells and they fit without problem.
YoSDeNS AR
Yes - that's exactly my position. I'm using Dave's lamps and night driving is transformed. :)
Colin Heseltine
I've also had LED headlight bulbs from Dave for a number of months now and they are a fantastic improvement. Previously I had 150% uprated H4 bulbs but these are so so much better.Colin
David White
Another thumbs up for the Dave Gemzoe bulbs; just fitted. Before: and after:Obviously the "after" has no nose so the pattern is impacted slightly!

Rob D.
All,I bought some LED lights from Amazon - They are searchable under HARLEY DAVIDSON LED LIGHT - I replaced the whole unit as I also had a cracked glass. £140 for the pair - also felt these were good value. as they have a circular ring daylight running light. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Headlight-Daymaker-Lights-Davidson-Motorcycle/dp/B06XJNCH3R/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=Harley+Davidson+lights&qid=1583747756&sr=8-7Top Tip - don't install upside down - you'll make folks angry. /sites/default/files/images/users/43382/large_IMG_0825_0.JPGRegardsRob

John Vine
And yet another convert...I've just fitted DG's bulbs to my 7" headlamps. This is how they compare with standard H4s (actually Philips +130%) -- LED on the nearside.First, dipped beam:And main beam:I also re-used the rubber dust cover:I'm assuming that was correct? (There was no mention in the instruction booklet.)And this is how the LEDs perform in the dark:Dipped beam:Main beam:JV

David White
I couldn't work out how to refit the dust cover without risking damage to the LED?
John Vine
Re #62:You first need to detach the LED body from the plastic carrier (turn anticlockwise to the stop -- about 45 deg). Fit the carrier and dust cover, then insert the LED body (turn clockwise to the stop). Note that the LED body will go in two ways, 180 deg apart. Ensure that the hood (each side of the dipped-beam LEDs) points upwards.JV

Paul N
Sure I'm missing something in the thread but does anyone have the contact number for Dave Gemzone please, looking to buy headlight bulbs for ours, many thanks
Member Jonathan Kay Posted June 10, 2022 Member Share Posted June 10, 2022 dave@gemzoe.com https://www.gemzoe.comJonathanPS: I'm not surprised that you couldn't find it. This topic is suffering from the worst case of thread fragmentation since someone first tried to fill a K series with coolant rather than air. GulfSeven
If you fit LED bulbs in standard lenses now it won't (shouldn't) pass MOT anymore. You need to change the whole headlight to an LED unit to be legal. I also have some Gemzoe bulbs lying idle since I fitted LED headlights. I bought bulbs before the legislation changed but they're basically useless now.
Paul N
Thanks for the above, will try bulbs first & if needed switch back for MOT, car only 3 months old so have a while to play
John Vine
If you fit LED bulbs in standard lenses now it won't (shouldn't) pass MOT anymore. That is true. I fitted Dave Gemzoe's bulbs to my standard 7" headlamps in early 2020. At MOT time, I take along the old halogens just in case, but my MOT chap was much more interested in beam alignment and made no comment at all about LED bulbs.JV
