  1. 108 hrs over 8 weeks or so. My advice would be to not go too fast as it’s a thoroughly enjoyable experience that’s over all too soon. There’s a list of blogs within my blog, that may be of interest: https://cat310s.wordpress.com/category/references/ Latest assembly guides can be downloaded from the Caterham Cars website: https://caterhamcars.com/en/for-owners/guides-and-manuals Enjoy!
  2. Hi Colin, I drew it in based on where I found it on my 2019 self build car. Kind regards
  3. Unfortunately I don't have a photo, but this is roughly where it is located under the transmission cover. To reach it from above, you may also have to remove the plate labelled (2). Cover is awkward to get off as you'll have to remove the gear knob and may have to slacken off the handbrake via the adjuster attached to the side of the differential. I doubt you'll be able to get to it from below as the prop shaft is in the way.
  4. I used superglue when assembling the car.
  5. #2 Thanks Jonathan - there seem to be a variety of options and a bit of trial and error. #4 StevehS3 - would be interested to know how you achieved that. Great result!
  6. I'm sure I've seen this subject discussed before but an struggling to find the thread. My front carbon wings have white spots appearing (presumably water marks) and I'm looking for advice on how to get rid without having to remove or recoat the wings. Thanks in anticipation! David
  7. Also booked into Guyers again. Looking forward to a great day.
  8. I fitted this to the fuse box cover, taking the supply from the existing permanent supply serving the cigarette lighter. It has an inbuilt switch (the left hand button) so can be isolated to avoid draining the battery, although I have to leave it turned on when connecting my Ctek via the 12V port. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09DKSSS43/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Also, I located the rear 12V supply cable tied under the tunnel cover, behind the handbrake and just forward of the Diff. You'll probably have to take off the cover to gain access.
  9. Hi Anton, Just spotted what I believe to be your 7 on the roundabout on the A22 near Sackville School, East Grinstead - hope you are OK?
  10. Evening commute back home. Had to make the most of the good weather!
  11. There is still a permanent live to the switch so I have to leave it on to use the CTEK.
  12. Taking inspiration from David's original post, I've just installed similar although have fixed it into the fuse box cover and made use of the existing 12v supply to the original cigarette lighter, so avoiding having to make new connections to the battery. The cigarette lighter is now also switched.
