  1. I am looking for a pair of the Motamec 02 Formula wing mirrors in matt black SKU# GPM02/BK.
  2. Yes, that was my thinking. I think I will stick with 18psi all round. If it is unsafe for some reason then that is good to know.
  3. My understanding is that the pressure imbalance is aimed at ensuring that the front locks up first. Was your road test a problem at the IVA?
  4. I am preparing for my IVA. One of the build blogs strongly suggests changing the brake bias by raising the front tyre pressure to 40psi and reducing the rears to 20psi. Is this standard practice? I will be driving 60 miles to the IVA so that should give me opportunity to bed in the brake pads. I would have thought that this tyre pressure jiggery-pokery was unnecessary but what is your experience?
  5. For those of you who have used Isoflex liquid rubber, did you use a primer or is that unnecessary for use on the underside of the rear wings?
  6. I am answering my own question for the benefit of other folk who may be interested. The cigarette lighter that came with my 360S is indeed permanently live so my 5 amp CTEK charger can be connected via that without the key being in the ignition. 🙂
  7. Hi Matt, Yes that does look to be a very neat solution albeit quite expensive. Since my 360S already has a cigarette lighter as standard I was hoping to use that rather than run extra wiring. If it is not always live then I may take your suggestion since it is neat and provides the extra benefit of the battery health indicator. Cheers.
  8. Yes, that was part of my question really. I have the 360 and I was wondering if the cigarette lighter is live when the ignition is switched off.
  9. I have the standard 'Banner' battery and I was thinking of using the CTEK cigarette lighter adapter rather than having to remove the bonnet each time to connect it to the battery directly. I had no particular concern. I just wanted to check that this 'reverse charging' was feasible and not a dumb idea for the Seven.
  10. For those of you out there with a CTEK battery charger (or similar smart charger) do you have any experience of connecting it via the cigarette lighter? BTW, I do not have a battery isolator switch. Happy Christmas to everyone.
  11. Hi All, thank you very much for your feedback. @Jonathan Kay yes, I did read those posts but most were asking about how to bleed the clutch rather than tools used. There was a reference to Eezibleed but I wanted to see if anyone had an alternative suggestion. I have the old, verbose assembly guide but I wanted to check if something new was on the market. @Shaun_E thanks for the advice. @BigCol thanks for the kind offer but I am sure that I will get enough use out of it to warrant buying a new one.
  12. Hi, This is my first post so apologies if this has been covered before. I have searched posts but didn't find what I was looking for. I am building a 360S and I want to bleed the hydraulic clutch. I am thinking of buying some equipment to make that (and the later brake bleeding) simpler to do on my own. I have seen some people recommend the Gunson Eezibleed Kit and I assume that they are referring to G4062. Does anyone have an alternative suggestion? Since it is pressurised I don't want to blow out any seals in the system. If I reduce the tyre pressure then presumably that should not be a problem?
