  1. It is always very nice be able to find information, hence it's good to see when solutions are suggested, often based on own experiences, and to see how helpfull the members are.
  2. AnthonyM was. Not in Norway though - I've just been whispered that he's sorted and no longer need one.

    VHPD camshafts

@David Jones It's Tim Biird you should say thank you to. But.. if you notice, there's a google site search at the top of the page - next to the log out button. Should do the same, I think.

    Li-ion battery

I've got one in my K. The car hasn't run since September 19, I tried to flick the switch yesterday. I think it would have fired althoug it seemed on the weak side. They certainly don't self-discharge much.
  6. Unfortunately anything pre 2014 is more or less useless due to broken links and lack of formatting :-(

    Li-ion battery

And the Li Ion batteries typically have less capacity although higher CCA, so for long time storage with drain (without master switch) it's less capable
  8. I wouldn't mind helping to rename the documents - and working with validation of medical production I suspect I can help finding a system and follow it :-p
  9. Jonathan If you email it to blatchat@rj.dk then I can make it available for download.
  10. You don't have to take off the scuttle to remove the dash. It was just for showing what to expect. It's very very easy and can be done blindfolded.
  11. Of course I could have sent this in a PM. However, I find it more constructive to put it in public: As you can see in this picture there are two small brackets each held by two locknuts. If my memory serves me correctly, those are M3 which means you need a 5.5mm socket to undo them. - it's been 10+ years since I've had the scuttle off (!) Remove the brackets and pull out the dash. Very very easy.
  12. You could mill a spacer from alloy and have flat sheets simply cut to shape. The outer shape of the spacer should be like the shape of the current cover. And then just be a thin wall except where bolts go in to fix the flat sheets. I've been thinking of doing something like that - just because I can ;-)
  13. Andrew: The simple solution is to have it made from carbon fibre :-p The problem with 3D printed items is that most of them don't last very long, and one thing I'd not like to detoriate intot the cam belt is the cover.
  14. I will be happy to make a jig if someone has a sketch they want to share with me.
  15. Anyone who knows Ians "in good condition" will know these are like new.
  16. 17. Not present on the spare EU3 1.6 engine I have.
