  1. Think you need pads for Triumph Spitfire calipers - type 14, part number MGB533M1144
  2. If your exhaust components you are taking readings from an IR thermometer are shiny / reflective you cannot rely on the readings, those readings are as Andrew says are very low.
  3. Heat shrink tubing on one leg only should take up the slack
  4. Radtec very good....absolutely fine with Comma G30....pink! On reflection I would go now for black, not necessarily for heat efficacy as this is not an issue for road driving but it becomes less visible from the front, but you pay more for black.
  5. Saw you in the distance gently cruising west out of Pickering, felt obliged to get a bit closer to get your reg. I was in my tin-top as you were leaving Pickering at about 12:55pm today 2nd December. Hope you had a nice drive out
  6. +1 for cable on the way out, mine did the same
  7. Chris - sent you a PM reply to the pictures, thanks.....but it has not sent, could be your mailbox capacity has been exceeded? (probably the pictures!)
  8. Chris....interested in the sidescreens have sent you a blatmail.
  9. Interested will send PM for pictures, thanks
  10. I have a original 4-1short primary with separate exhaust that has a cat in the can. I can send pictures if you like. The condition of the exhaust exit is OK but has a few dents, otherwise in very good used condition. I am in Leicester area
  11. Let us know how you get on. I use this http://Meguiar's G15812EU Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer Trim Restorer 355ml found it to last very well, greater than 18 months with the switches not going back to grey at that time just not quite as black when applied.
  12. Could try dental floss as a saw between the cork and panel?
  13. Dave Andrews shortened my studs as a courtesy when doing some head work for a future exhaust replacement. Assuming you remove the studs, shorten them before replacing.
  14. Saw your car parked on campus as my son and I were on the Open Day.
