    Fule Leak

I have even seen the leak from the rubber gasket and from the welding on the side of the tank 🙆🏻 /r
  2. How about using the wanted section??? /r
  3. Richard Before cutting with a hacksaw, I'd try to find a larger allen key by switching between imp to metric, or even use one of those many splined torx-like things. Further use a little gas flame from a welder to warm up the bespoke bolt, and finally use penetrading oil, which unlike WD40 is heat restistant. I've got a nice product called "Biral" in a red can, which is superb for the job, but doubt it's available in England. If you need to drill out the screw you must know that these b****rds are often very hard to get through without damaging the thread, especially if you haven't got the right tools. /r
  4. Well, I like the looks of the headlights! Good luck! /r
  5. Older DeDion chassis's have the threaded pin through like the live axle ones. Just don't remember when it was altered. /r

  9. Jackal, if nobody else wants to help you can I source a kit in Denmark (that's my location) and build it for you; I know of a Danish manufacturer of a kit, which further to being an amplifier has an agc, which will more or less retain the same output level regardless of the input... /regin
  10. David, Could it be AMMO aka Raceco? www.raceco.com I am not absolutely sure, but... /regin Edited by - RJ on 28 Feb 2004 22:58:22
  11. Hm... I took an R400 from Dartford to ... Denmark even without a map. Only "problem" was that the fuel tank was *very* close to empty when I finally found a service station near Dartford... ... and to keep revs below 4000! To be honest: i took the ferry from Harwich /r

    R500 WANTED

Or even better: Try posting in the WANTED section... /r
  13. And I can second that it is a direct fit! /r
  14. Or it could be from the starter. Have heard it on many tintops, it happens when the gear does not retract instantly when the key is released. Not anything serious though, but of course adds wear to the starter... /r
  15. Try the "wanted" section.... /r

    Chassis

My '95 LA chassis also has the covered pedal box. The cover is only to prevent you from getting wet feet as far as I know. The chassis is the "universal" type. /r
  19. Maybe nobody wants to sell to somebody placing wanted ads in the for sale section 🤔 ❗ 🤔 /r
  20. Zak, if the car only misfires if the weathre is damp I would start suspecting the HT coil as the injection on a VW very rarely suffers from being sensible to humidity. Good luck, /regin
  21. Many thanks Mav, Unfortunately no current stock, but maybe next week... Cheers, /r
  22. I wouldn't!!! A friend of mine, that used to work for one of the oil companies, told me to avoid mixing as the additives in the different types of oil might start fighting each other which I would not want! /rj
  23. As said in subject! Loads of these must keep sheds free of dust after replacement with nice reprogrammable units... /rj
