Thank you everyone for all the suggestions. I have passed these to my friend in France. Hopefully he can get sorted with something from here. @Regin - MX5 changed for a Z4 a few years back mate, and now that's gone to scratch a V8 itch - TVR Chimaera 450.

As it says. I have a friend with a 1700 x-flow whose block is caput and he needs a replacement. New ones from Burton are nearly £2.5k!!!

Done this many time with my VX-XE, but not done a X-Flow. What is the received wisdom on this? Engine only or engine and box in one lump? Which is easier? For reference, I don't need the box out. Thanks in anticipation.....

Many moons ago, these were a thing and (I think) available from CC. No longer, it would seem. Does anyone have a pair or know where I might lay my hands on some? Thanks,,,,,,
