Fairly sure we have a few of these in the workshop at Donington. If you're coming on Saturday, find me and we can take a wander over and have a look. cheers, Jonny
Hi Gents, We've just replaced all of the 8-spoke anthracite rims on our rental cars for the newer Apollo style wheels so we've got 40+ of the older 8-spoke anthracite rims for sale (in various conditions and ages but all straight). If anyone's interested I would suggest coming to Donington Park to take a look but we're only going to want about £50 for them. Jonny BookaTrack Caterham

AP racing front brake kit from caterham is £687.65 inc VAT. I guess £300 plus the standard brakes in part-ex?
6-speed box from caterham is £3,060.00 inc VAT. I guess £1400 plus the 5-speed in part-ex?
no idea how much a new ZF diff is as I can't find a price on the caterham website.

3.62 ZF LSD. mileage will be well over 50K. I have no idea how much the diff and box is worth as a part-ex against 5-speed/open diff, but I guess we'd need to clear over a grand between the 2, net of our labour cost, to make it worthwhile.
100% track miles (non-road-legal car). gearbox was rebuilt about 4-5 track days ago and has been rebuilt approx once a year since new.
The diff's have never been touchedin any of our 10 cars and i've never heard of one failing either. My understanding is that both the car and driver will both die a long time before the LSD does.

Bit of an odd one this. We're going to eBaY a 2006 K-series BaT CaT next month and someone suggested to me that we'd almost certainly generate more money overall by stripping these items off the car beforehand and taking standard items (5-speed, open diff, standard brakes) in part-exchange.
Anyone looking to upgrade please get in touch.

indeed, bit of a shame for us but then you have to look at these things commercially, the car has more than paid for itself over the years and at some point you have to move on.
proper bargain though - if the same car came up for sale tomorrow i'd probably be bidding on it myself!
