  1. Joe: Now there's a can of worms! Since I'm guessing you got your through official channels, It will be titled as a kit car. You just go to the Secretary of State, and ask for the forms. You will have to pay tax on it based on the cost of the kit. Save your recipts. Then you will get a temp tag to drive it to the inspection. Insurance may be a challenge. I use Hagerty out of Traverse City. Since your car is new they may insure it as an "exotic". Far cheaper than my regular provider. If you wish to chat it up on the subject you can email or call me.
