  1. Chris, they catch the inside edge of the wheel itself, I just took a grinder to my ears...
  2. Neither set are show condition but are straight and round (if that makes sense) and tidy, some have centre caps some don't, ideal track wheels. Both sets balanced. 1st set is on Avon slicks with a track day or 2 left in them, 6" fronts, 7" rears - your ears will need a trim to get these to fit nicely! 2nd set are all 6" with 2 wheels fitted with Toyo 888 and 2 with Yoko A048, probably not quite legal but again have a trackday or 2 left in them. £150/set ideally buyer collects from the Oxford area. Ta, Jason
  3. Impeccable timing as ever, I bought some last month... Have a BTTT on me though!
  4. It's a nice box, believe it's the same as fitted the Frontlines LE50 MGBs. LE50 Edited by - JaseB on 10 Dec 2013 09:15:22
  5. Yeh that's the one and yes it does break down. Collect when you can really, no crazy crazy rush.
  6. Getting in the way so free to a good home, complete and in pretty good nick, perfectly serviceable. Can email pics if needed. Ideally collect from near Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Cheers Jason
  7. Firstly apologies because I don't actually want to buy the head unit, sorry However I've just a purchased 348GTS (woohoo, can't beat new toys!) which could do with some new speakers and maybe an amp and would be very interested in your recommended installer
  8. Thanks Roger, my engine is a Raceline 190/200 spec so I've always believed 40s to be marginal but held off changing anything while I worked out if I wanted to cough up for injection! I'll have a chat with my local chap and see what he thinks, either way I want those flat spots banished! Thanks for your help!
  9. Sorry, seem to have hijacked the original thread somewhat but... Is it the case where carbs - my 40s in this instance - can be set to maximise power at the expense of smoothness (what I was told by my garage man) and maybe 45s would do both?! Or is that complete rubbish and I should get the 40s set up properly?
  10. Every day's a school day, my 2 litre zetec has run on 40s since we fitted it and has a flat spot, it never occured to me that 45s could cure it... Doh!! Daft question, I've now seen 3, 4 and 5 progression hole DCOEs, what's the difference, smoother but more hassle to set up?!
  11. Might be worth seeing what Caterham themselves would give you for it?

  13. Friends of mine have a 2 litre red top 7 with some serious top end ticking that needs fixing, tried flushing and new oil I seem to remember a minor mod to the cam cover but to no avail. So now need someone who knows what they're talking about and preferably close to home! I vaguely remember there being somewhere in Witney?! Any ideas gratefully recieved. Edited to fix the smelling... Edited by - jaseb on 5 Mar 2013 14:14:31
  14. If this falls through I'd be very interested...
  15. There's a company called Specialist Welding on the Hanney Road going out of Steventon, well worth going to see them on spec or give them a call on 01235 820 821, I had an engine mount welded up by them but they had all sort of work going on. They do a lot of Frontline Engineering's specialist metalwork. Check them out on Google maps before you go cos it's easy to miss the turning despite it being the only building for miles around...
