  1. Thanks Gordon, don't be too sad...I see it as six years of fun and good memories. The car is still for sale. I've added my contact details to the ad, just PM or call if there are any questions about the car. I am open to sensible offers...

  3. Surprised there are places left... likewise I can't wait for this one
  4. Hi Gregs, If for an S3 I would start with heated windscreen with black frame complete with rear view mirror and popper fittings for hood, a pair of black stanchions, and a pair of full side screens with armrests and side mirrors. It just happens that i have listed the same on the for sale section today :) You would need to spend c.£1k for this little lot brand new from caterham. Let me know if mine are of interest to you. Cheers, Gary

Thanks for all the posts. Clearly a few people enjoying slicks. I have decided to give Avon ZZRs a go on the back of a lot of positive feedback.

Thanks for all the responses, I'm glad I asked as I'd not even considered rake and different tyre diameters! Cheers, Gary Edited by - GaryT on 16 Jul 2013 22:35:10

Quoting Capt Sensible: Why<img data-cke-saved-src="" src=""images/smilies/question.gif"" alt=""question" mark"="" class=""smiley"">To be honest I fancy a change. Plus running two sets of wheels means being able to cater for a wider variety of conditions. I had also considered running Avon ZZR's alongside Avon CR28 Sports.
  8. Many thanks for the response Stu. Ideally I'm looking for the Superlight/R400 race style of roll cage if anyone has one of these? Cheers, Gary
  9. Hi, I'm looking for an imperial Superlight full roll cage to fit a 2003 k-series R400 for track use. Anyone have one of these surplus to requirements? Cheers, Gary
  10. Hi, i'm certainly no expert but have just put in an order for 13" CXR's 6's front and 8's rear from Polley. I'll tell you in three weeks if i've got the offsets right 😳 but i would suggest taking a look at the bulk buy thread for CXR's, it runs through most common offsets chosen for each wheel size and i found this very helpful to get to my decision which i sense checked with Polley before i ordered. If i had a trailer i'd probably go for slicks, but i don't yet so think i'm going to go for r888's 185F 205R, there's a great club discount that someone kindly set up Hope this helps Gary
  11. Andrew, i too looked for these for a while, the ones that go on the outside of the front cycle wings. Believe it or not i got mine from Caterham South a couple of months ago, they're not on the website but they had some new ones in stock. Give them a call Cheers, Gary
  12. Thanks everyone that's really helpful advice, next two track days are local (brands) so have plenty of time to look for one now knowing it should fit ok the u tube clip is so funny, thanks Devils Advocate Cheers, Gary
  13. Hi, looking to get a bit further afield with track days so thought i'd measure up for a trailer. Brian James Minno (seems to be a popular choice) 205cm wide, garage door 210cm wide ! Now 2.5cm clearance on either side doesn't really sound like enough to me. Anyone with any tips on how to live with this? or alternative narrower trailer suggestions welcome too! Cheers, Gary
