Forgot to say it's 685mm long, outlet is 62mm od, inputs are 50mm-ish odthe "box is some 130mm in diameter And the pictures have gone public. Lund is not too far away! - But the cat has not significant influence on the sound level. /r

Anders, it's a 4-1, I'll publish a picture at the same address as previously stated fairly soon (before 4PM) /r

Anders, Depending on your primaries, I have an R500 collector and cat I'll lend you for test purposes. I can tell you that the R500 exhaust is far too noisy to pass the Danish MOT test, but I don't know the Swedish regs. Obviously it fits the R500 primaries. Where in Sweden are you? I'm just north of Copenhagen. /r
  5. Ian, I was thinking of painting it to hide what it's made from! I just think it's daft wasting 2% weight on an useless plastic item. /r Me and my spelling 🙆🏻 Edited by - RJ on 7 Dec 2004 22:26:59 Edited by - RJ on 7 Dec 2004 22:27:58

Bare, Yep, postage, import tax (8%ish) and plus 25% sales tax - But I have yet to find a Hi Performance unit here... Can you give me some names to search for? /regin Edited by - RJ on 7 Dec 2004 22:29:52
  7. CTV, Myles is right, but you can have the carbon cover, which Caterham sell, for an EU3 engine. The std. plastic thingy weighs about 800 grams, which means that there will be quite a lot to save. (Going to do this myself) /regin
  8. Those who claims you engine is an EU3 are right. /r
  9. I certainly can't 'cos I got this message: An error has occurred. You do not appear to be the owner of this album. Make sure you are logged in. Please push the Back button on your browser to correct this problem. Thank you. and then I got back here! /r

Anders, I've just done a bit of research, you can get universal cat's in Denamrk, all having 2" connections. I have published a drawing of two of these on rj.dk/cat1.tif I would suggest the one on the bottom of the page, which is about 90£ + VAT (DKK 1200ish in total) It is fairly much a stock item at the aftermarket dealers, and the one 2 miles from me has one on stock, which talks for itself when it comes to availability. /regin Edited by - RJ on 7 Dec 2004 10:30:43

Anders, Which engine do you have? There ought to be quite a few options, and I know that AMMO can tailor make an exhaust for you, I think the catalyst is £200-250ish on the top. If you want me to, I can check options here in Denmark as well, and can mail you my telephone No offline if you want. /regin
  13. All: Bear with Jorgen, he's Danish - said a .... Dane. /regin
  14. Adam, did he jack up bith wheels or just one? If he jacked up only one the he'd have to rotate it 720 degs to rotate the crown wheel 360 deg. If he did jack up both wheels he will probably not know how much he's rotated the crown wheel. I might have the diff you're after, but I'd imagine that the postage is daft. How long can you wait? /regin
  15. Norman, Mine is also 51mm ish, but where it slides into the gearbox it's 35mm - shoúld that be what you are after. /regin
  16. Has Mr Glop's car transformed into a VW or what's going on 🤔 Five posts in a row with exactly the same wording 🙆🏻 - and then a wanted ad in this section. May I suggest posting wanted ads in the *wanted* section 🤔 please ☹️ /regin
  17. Well Paul, I know the Danish regulations pretty well. In fact am I entitled to do the Danish 'SVA' test, and to be honest I don't give a d*** about where the car has been registered as long as it fulfils the regs... I would not claim that this applies to any other country, but it certainly does in this silly one where I live. And it *is* silly as a car with a first date of use - not necessarily first date of registration - later than 30th September 2003 can currently not be registered here because of the lack of airbags etc. Regulations I'm trying to have altered. Now you may know why I'm so pig-headed 😳 about the Danish regs. /regin
  18. Nope, an English registration is nothing worth in Denmark! - I know the Danish regulations *very* well, and can help if needed. /regin
  19. Daniel, you need to do alot of searching to find a set of 13" 10 spoke anthracite wheels if you're looking for the new style r500 wheels - in 13" they are only 8 spoke
  20. Richard, suppose you mean the lamps? If so, yes they are, but you can not replace the alternator warning lamp by a led, if that's what you're looking for. If you are going to do so anyway, you'll need a ballast resistor of some 47ohms / 5W wired in parallel to the LED to ensure sufficient "preload" to the the alternator. Otherwise it won't start charging. /regin
  21. Battered, don't you think of Redline Components? They're referred to as being the official Lotus 7 people and very very helpful. Tel 01883346515 Ratrace are in High Barnet, unfortunately haven't i got their No on the top of my head, but they're most helpful too. /r

  23. Nifty: "Personally I think this type of thread is unwanted on Blatchat." I'll second that anytime. The way this thread was kept on the top by the seller was about getting as boring as mr. glop /regin PS: The poster could lock the thread to avoid it from beeing keept on the top - and I'm editing rather than posting new posts to avoid helping keeping it there... /r Edited by - RJ on 1 Nov 2004 20:37:55
  24. Justin, You're spot on about my concern. On a Seven I wouldn't be concerned either, but in real world with real cars I am as it has happened to me - more than once. /r
  25. Justin, Although I have driven a Seven in 3 inches of snow it isn't always like that here. We are not that far up north. I'm at the latitude of Newcastle-ish. In fact I've never had any problems during the winter, which could be because the salt off the road attacks the calliper more when it's warmer, and no matter how much you try to clean the calliper, there will always be a bit left to cause corrosion. Don't know, just a thought. /r-) Edited by - RJ on 25 Oct 2004 21:33:34
