    Bleep Bleep

Yes it is now standard and very irritating.... CC sales team dept. idea methinks! Jan PS mind you does the job though
  2. It's an SV and I am now on my second so can't be all bad. Caterham Cars have a few s/h ones for sale including my ex car. If you want any more detailed info send me an e mail. The first ones rolled out of the factory in June 2001 and basically you pay a premium of ca. £1250 but you do get widetrack suspension and a few other thigs thrown in so in reality the premium is £18K depending on the spec. Seats for SV

Apparently Tillet are making a larger seat for the SV and I know that Oxted trimming make padded inserts (more than one design) for Tillet seats. Worth investigating I would have thought. BTW I did 660 miles in one day in my S type leather SV seats and it was v. comfortable. Jan

    R300 noise level

Thanks for the replies...sounds like I am going to be OK Anyone tried getting on track in an R300 at Bedford? Thanks again. Jan
  8. Am I right to assume that an R300 with it's standard exhaust will be noisier than 100dbs (measured at 45degrees from exhaust outlet at 0.5metres and at 4500rpm) ? Any advice gratefully received as I was hoping to go to Castle Combe in August. Thanks Jan
  9. As a prospective R300 owner later in the summer I will be interested in hearing what they say. Hope you get it sorted pronto Jan
  10. Having just ordered an R300 and living in London (where despite Ken Livingstone's 'best' efforts we still have traffic) I am a little disturbed by this posting so let's hope someone out there can post some positive news/update on this issue. Jan And along came Peter right on cue! Edited by - Jan T on 20 Apr 2003 21:53:11

    Apollo & Oil Cooler

Martin FWIW Simon Lambert told me it was unnecessary to fit one on my car even though my oil on trackdays gets pretty hot. Speak to Matt at ThinkAutomotive (matt@thinkauto.com ) he is very helpful. Cheers Jan

    Pace Dry Sump

Interesting article in LF about fitting this and Mick Smith (the author) can see no reason why it cannot be fitted to an unmodified VVC engine unlike the Caterham set up. Can someone please enlighten me as to why the CC set up is a no no for the VVC? Thanks Jan
  23. Has anyone out there had an exhaust fabricated by Exhaust by Design or Powerspeed for an SV (VVC)...if so I would like to make contact? Thanks Jan
  24. Yes I would be very interested. Jan
