  1. A very good evening, thank you for organising this. The weather couldn't have been better and despite a crowded track I felt driving standards were good with patience shown by all.
  2. [u Quoting TomB: Arse. I have a different bulb holder. My 1996 car has side lamp bulbs like these, so I need to get a blade type bulb holder with blade connectors for the wiring. Any ideas where I could find some? That's strange, mine is a 96 and has blade type sidelights. Fitted my LED sidelights and am very pleased with them, quite a hint of purple to them and brighter than standard bulbs.
  3. Photos always help with a sale, and I bet it looks great in Pearl White.

    LSD

Just check it is a type suited for drifting
  5. I've ordered some too, thanks for the recommendation.

Do you run a dry sump currently? If not take care when running slicks, others will be along to advise if that's a suitable mix? Personally, I run used slicks (£15 each) ex Formula Renault 2.0 radials which fit on our 13" wheels perfectly. They just seem to last for ages and grip better than any semi slick.
  7. How about Rob Walker towards Bristol direction?
  8. Good luck with the sale Simon. These are really great cars and make ideal commuting tools, being good on fuel, well built, handle well and with loads of toys. I'm on my fourth IQ now (I cover quite a few miles) and my mum bought one as she liked mine so much!
  9. 128bhp for the 1400 SS as standard.
  10. I now use the hexagonal Renault type, much better quality although more expensive. I haven't had one break since I changed a couple of years back. Think these are the ones - here

    Is she dead?

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that Kenno. ☹️ Good time to treat yourself to a dry sump?
  12. Yes, the cambelt was still in place, just the alternator belt and pulley fell off.
  13. I will see if I can lend Philip the cambelt locking tool. Can anyone else help with this please (advice, not the locking tool)?
  14. Mine seem to fit with no trimming, although I'm not worried about trying to get the leading edge inside the car.
  15. Mine too, I think they look great for the money, will see if they fit later (I have the cut out for the side impact bar)!
  16. Windscreen and no doors is the worst combination, better to go aeroscreen with no doors or half doors. Some use wind deflectors on their screens but with mixed results.
  17. A nice steady drive there James
  18. Hi Jake, Good luck with your move, a cheeky offer from me, how about £40 for the fan? Cheers, Dave
  19. I'm thinking of entering for the round at Combe.
  20. I have sent Steve an e-mail - interested in a pair of leathery black with the cutouts for my cage and a drivers side impact bar.
  21. Hello, Good to meet a couple of you today. Really cold and wet spectating, we couldn't stick around to watch the second run. How did it go? Cheers, Dave and Beth
  22. You'll probably be fine Kenno, it's 95db drive-by not stationary. Looking at the other cars going (M3 CSLs, various 7s, Exiges etc.) I don't think we will be the loudest?
