Tim_H
Sussed today that i'm getting 90MPH. That - (to me) is hugely over driven, and not that sporting, - more touring. Any comments, or advice. (My 205 was 80MPH, and SWMBO's BM was 85MPH) or is my speedo out? Tim 1600 x/f, 13" rims, 185/70/13 tyres, 5 speed box.
gmdh555
80, but the speedo will be showing 85-90. G Yellow and black 1.8 VX, pics here
Chris K
according to DVA's gearing prog http://members.aol.com/DVAndrews/ thats about right.. overdrive 5th, big tyres, 3.62 diff all adds up to a long ratio.. but it also means I can get 48-50 in 1st with my BGH E6 😬 a 3.92 diff will give you 83 (£££)... Scalper
mine does 67mph at 4000 revs with 185/70R13 tyres and 60mph with 175/55r13 tyres Enrico Headrests wanted
Joe 90
80 in 5th in the 7, but then I've got a BGH box. BTW it's about 120 mph in SWMBO's tintop. SEP field working, not spotted in 103,100 miles. Some photos on webshots, updated 25 Jan

neil.cavanagh
about 80mph. Or about 150mph in the tintop, if I could get it to Germany...
stevefoster
73.6 mph on my quaife CR box and 3.92 diff. This is bourne out by my bike speedo. Don't use a Caterham speedo for this test. It will read around 80. Gives a 130 top end nearing the shift light. Coose... blade_runner
Difficult to tell when your dead on 4000 rpm's in mine as the scale on the rev counter is compressed till it gets to 5k, but I would say its doin around 42mph at 4k.... but it does rev on till 12200 rpm 'Pinky Pics' here
