  2. My radtec leaked after 4000 miles and I'm aware of a few others in the same boat. In the end I managed to get them to supply me with a new core which I had welded in by a local company here in NI. I wouldn't be rushing to buy another one. 3. Go for it....its a piece of piss.......if we can get through in NI then there should be no problem in the rest of the country. Just make sure you have covered everything in the manual. 8. Glad to see you have seen the light Willie. You can buy any Emerald M3DK (after a certain serial number....check the emerald website) Those after the certain serial number can be upgraded to K3 spec for about £50 I think. 9. I did a dry track day last week with soft fronts and medium rears. Red arb front, rear arb on 2nd softest setting.....car felt really well balanced, with just a touch of oversteer at the back which was really controllable on the throttle. Previously I had run softs all round which were great on the road but I never got to try them on a dry track. 10. There are two parts to it, the CF back box £117 and the CF cover £146 which is £263.......not sure why its so much on the options list.......unless there is something different about the R500 one. I wonder if you can use the cover with a std backplate........can't see why not. Simon Bell - Caterham 7 Duratec R I`ve seen the future.....and it`s powered by duratec Check out the website here

  14. I'll pass on the aeroscreen if it is the JPE type. I only intend to use an aeroscreen for track days so it needs to be interchangeable with the windscreen. All yours tricky dicky. Simon Bell - Caterham 7 Duratec R I`ve seen the future.....and it`s powered by duratec Check out the website here
  15. tricky Dicky, see my first dibs above I presume this is the Caterham aeroscreen or is it the older JPE type. Can you send me a picture at threeferndrive@btopenworld.com to confirm I won't be back online to later this evening but I will get back to you then if you can get the picture to me today at some point. 18. I've had a look at this and I think its more of an air filter cover than an airbox as such. As I understand it this goes over the typical air filter. Simon Bell - Caterham 7 Duratec R I`ve seen the future.....and it`s powered by duratec Check out the website here
  19. Presumably you've had to remove these to change the brake pads......lovely design isn't it. I don't think there is a setting in the manual, but if you work to a setting for a simialr bolt or in my case the FT setting 😬 Simon Bell - Caterham 7 Duratec R I`ve seen the future.....and it`s powered by duratec Check out the website here
  20. I use Protech and have been happy with them, had a great day on track yesterday where the car felt really good. My long term plan is freestyle with nitrons but in the meantime the protechs are doing the job and having driven Caterhams with std dampers I'd say they are a vast improvement over the Bilstiens. They let you fine tune the settings to your style rather than being a compromise to suit the masses. 22. Thread Hijack Can the std guages (2005 chassis) take a signal from a wheel sensor? Mine is currently off the speedo drive but despite numerous attempts to seal it it is still laking and I'd like to sort it out if I can. 24. Brent Just bought a set of NGK PTR6F13's for mine. I've been using this type since I built the engine with no problems As far as I know these are the recommended std plug for the mondeo with the duratec engine.
