  1. Tom_C Are your wheels the same PCD as the Weller racing wheels ? I have a live axel x/flow with Wellers and quire fancy new wheels ..... how much are you asking ? Thanks Peter Clawhammer, sorry to hack your thread 😬
  2. That's about £100 depreciation a week
  3. Only if you give me £8k as well 😬
  4. Elie, No idea, make an offer, I can only say no ❗
  5. Testing the water a bit here, so here goes ... 1996 Caterham Super Seven, may p/x or swap, 1600 dry-sumped crossflow, 5 speed type 9 box, live axel with cycle wings, ex-scholarship car in red & aluminium. The dry sump kit has stainless steel hoses, remote oil filter and the cleanable dry sump tank sold by Caterham. Car has cloth ‘S’ type seats with headrests, heated windscreen, FIA rollbar with petty strut, adjustable dampers, 4-1 stainless steel side exhaust, push button start, shift-light pro, hood and tonneau cover, side screen, wheels are Weller racing steels with 1x AO21R and 4x Bridgestone RE720's in good condition. The AO21R is on the spare wheel with a carrier. I also have another set of Weller wheels with tyres and a Caterham outdoor cover. Car has a suede flat bottom steering wheel. The car was re-skinned in 2002 and the aluminium is in very good condition. This is in good condition overall. The car has MOT and TAX until July 2006. Currently on personal “C7” number plate, this is not going with the car but can be purchased separately if required. I don't use it, and probably won't get much chance to use it in the coming 12 months, the last time it was used I lent it to a friend to take on holiday, I'm a nice chap like that ! Any sensible offers or trades around the £8k mark ?
  6. Hi Angus, I'm in Sudbury, Suffolk. Don't worry about it too much I'm sure I'll be able to find something locally. Cheers Peter
  7. No decent supports I think I'll make something that is stronger than a sheet of ali, then hack something off the car to reduce weight and drag Windscreen 🤔
  8. Hi Angus, Are these ali U sections attached to the chassis ? I was thinking of a similar thing but connecting each end to the chassis where the orignal seats bolted in. Cheers Peter
  9. I've just bought some lovely S-type seats for my 1996 live axel x/flow. I've removed the old leather seats which are now on ebay, to find out the fixing points for the S-type are in a different position, straight through the floor. Aparantly later cars have some chassis rails under the floor for the sear bolts to go through and also giving extra support. I don't want to simply bolt the seats to the floor, so before I go making some brackets to strengthen the floor does anyone know if there is a fitting kit or adaptor brackets etc: already available and where to get it ? Thanks
  10. Now on ebay, item number 4590529934 😬
  11. Inore the last post by stupid me, I've just found out if I reply I get the real email address, Doh 😬
