:-)

Please could everyone add prices (and sources) they've seen... and even paid.

Jonathan

PS: Even with cost that presentation of data shouldn't mislead anyone into thinking that it includes everything needed to make a decision. Lithium batteries are very light and very interesting. I wouldn't use any unsealed battery including the default Banner.

Just to add to your table, I use a PC545 which quotes 460cca. Just fitted my third one, previous 2 having lasted 9 years each- pretty good for a small 13ah unit. Relocated mine down by the starter motor thus shortening the cable runs

This has most definitely been discussed before, but what is the general consensus on lithium battery’s to replace the banner battery that has died in my R400K.

I don't think that there is any consensus because there haven't been enough reports on particular makes and models. Probably the best single thread, and I'm trying to document mass and price and energy storage etc over there.

But I'm totally convinced that they're worth considering.

Hello Club,

As new member and happy new owner of my first (old) 7, I had to change the battery and was looking extensively on the forum to find what was recommended / best.

Finally, I took the same as previously mounted, in order to avoid any issue with mounting, cables positioning, ...

So just to share here the data in case it can help any other member.
