  1. Tootstation stock PU adhesive albeit not the normal forum recommended brands. Screwfix have Sikaflex EBT which I 'think' is PU however the description doesnt specifically state it. I've used it for other things and it is very much like PU.
  2. The clutch fork should have a grommet in the larger hole to stop the inner cable coming adrift/displaced. https://caterhamparts.co.uk/seatbelts-harnesses/783-grommet-seatbelt-blanking-clutch-fork.html
  3. Be mindful its only suitable for strawberries and tomatoes :-)
  4. A previous club member made up a cover out of tent material before shower caps were a thing with elastic straps. IIRC he put the fabric on wrong side up, pinned the corners / fold lines and his wife ran it through the sewing machine. You could try and find a local tent repairer?
  5. As per title a working PS2 console, controller & wires etc or a 60gb PS3 (has to be this to play the PS2 games) Would consider a bundle if you have games too. GT4 / Ridge Racer would be perfect! (I sold a similar PS1/PS2 bundle 2 years ago as it sat unused gathering dust. Son has now decided he wants to go retro!)
  6. I've had a google for 155/65R14 as used on the 160 and it seems to be only tintop tyres available including the Avons and Uniroyal Rain Experts which are a firm favorite for touring. Some Kumho's are quite good - might be worth looking at the sprinting 1A / 1B list for inspiration. Hopefully a competitor will be along shortly with advice :-).
  7. What size ? Uniroyal Rainsport / Rainexpert are one of the favourites!
  8. Rog, According to our esteemed sprinting friend there are two types. The older version with three holes between the speedo and rev for alternator, high beam and indicator signal lamps. The newer version has the speedo and rev closer together and the telltale lamps are built into one of these gauges. GLWTS. Ian
  9. Malcolm, I hate to rain on your parade - the blocks are cheaper than that new from Eliseparts £834 incl VAT. £594 at Brown and Gammons incl VAT. Both later blocks with the extra ribs / strengthening.
  10. The white worm is nearly always an issue with lacquered diamond cut wheels. Depending on how much free time you have (and patience) you could wet & dry off the clearcoat and then polish the ally.
  11. Just checked the parts website and there are now metric bore bushes available in 10mm and 12mm bore sizes. Every day a school day!
  12. Its however many washers are needed to take up the slack. I don't know alot about later chassis or SVs however those bolts look like they are metric. The bushes in the A frame I understood to be an imperial size - 1/2" bore. Might be worth checking the build manual for what bolts should be used Vs what is installed.
  13. I lift mine on the diff (after putting the wheels on some 2"x9" so I can get the jack under) then position the stands under the rearmost chassis tube that runs behind / parallel to the fuel tank. These are positioned as far out as they'll go. My S3 has some square plates with holes in at the outer edges and I get the stands as close to these as possible. Being an SV it'll be a bit heavier/wider so just watch the tube as the weight goes (slowly) onto the stands. If you feel / see it arcing up too much then stop. Ian
  14. Thats shockingly poor - all hidden with the std chrome wheel nuts
  15. Pair of Titon 6 point harnesses with 3" wide shoulder and waist straps. Less than 10k miles use but out of date for FIA motorsport. They are the pull down (from buckle) type so ideal for tillets. Supplied handed so buckle fits on tunnel side. Includes 8 bolts / top hats. Not involved in any accidents / crashes. One buckle sticker lost. One of the crutch straps is unused. All adjusters work as they should and hold tight. I'm reliably informed they can be used for the clubs sprint championship even though out of date. Only changed as wanted the pull up type. £120 plus postage or collect from Broughton Astley, Leicester. Or I can bring to Donington on Sunday
  16. On my '98 dedion (Ford fitment wheels) I run Mk1 Elise open end wheel nuts - mentioned in some of the results in Jonathan's search.
  17. It should still have a loop from the T-stat housing around the back of the engine to the water rail above the exhaust. Estimate 15/16mm bore heater hose. This is where you fit the bleed tee in the absence of a heater.
  18. One on ebay....NTDWM! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/295649457163?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=uisV_KYLQQa&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=lIIQa3JRTlK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
